Corisol Creme enthält als Wirkstoff Clotrimazol. Dieser Wirkstoff vernichtet Pilze, die beim Menschen die Haut befallen und zu oberflächlichen Pilzerkrankungen (Mykosen) führen. Darüber hinaus wirkt er auch gegen bestimmte Bakterien auf der Haut.
Corisol Creme kann zusätzlich bei Windeldermatitis bei Hefepilzbefall an Eichel und Penis angewendet werden.
Corisol Creme sollte bei Überempfindlichkeit gegen andere Pilzmittel (Antimykotika) vom Imidazoltyp oder einen Bestandteil des Präparates nicht angewendet werden.
Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegen Cetylstearylalkohol empfiehlt es sich, anstelle der Creme eine cetylstearylalkoholfreie Darreichungsform zu verwenden.
Corisol Creme darf nicht auf Mund- und Nasenschleimhaut oder im/am Auge angewendet oder geschluckt werden.
Bei ausgedehntem Pilzbefall oder bei Mitbefall der Nägel, ist der Arzt aufzusuchen.
Zur Behandlung von Pilzinfektionen im Bereich der weiblichen Geschlechtsteile stehen Corisol 3 Vaginaltabletten zur Verfügung.
Corisol Creme kann die Reissfestigkeit und damit die Sicherheit von Latexprodukten wie z.B. Kondomen oder Diaphragmen verringern wenn sie im Intimbereich aufgetragen wird (Frauen: Schamlippen und umliegende Hautregionen; Männer: Eichel und Vorhaut des Penis). Dieser Effekt ist vorübergehend und beschränkt auf den Zeitraum der Behandlung.
Bei gleichzeitiger Einnahme von Tacrolimus sollten Sie vor der Anwendung von Corisol Creme an der Eichel bzw. Vorhaut Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin um Rat fragen, da eine allfällige Tacrolimus-Überdosierung sorgfältig überwacht werden sollte.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie
Corisol Creme darf während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit nicht angewendet werden, es sei denn auf ärztliche Verschreibung.
Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. die Ärztin oder Apothekerin um Rat fragen.
Soweit nicht anders verordnet, wird Corisol Creme 2?3 mal täglich auf die erkrankten Stellen dünn aufgetragen und eingerieben. Bei Behandlung von Pilzerkrankungen des Gehörgangs wird ? bei intaktem Trommelfell ? ein Mullstreifen mit Corisol Creme bestrichen und als lockere Tamponade in den Gehörgang eingelegt.
Die Anwendung von Corisol Creme bei Windeldermatitis sollte 2-3 mal pro Tag mit dünnem Auftragen der Creme auf die betroffenen Stellen erfolgen. Die Behandlung sollte mindestens 7 Tage dauern. Anschliessend sollte ein Arzt/eine Ärztin den Therapieerfolg beurteilen und über die Fortführung der Behandlung entscheiden.
Bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren soll Corisol Creme nur nach ärztlicher Verschreibung angewendet werden.
Wichtig für eine erfolgreiche Behandlung ist die zuverlässige und ausreichend lange Anwendung von Corisol Creme (siehe unten).
Die Behandlungsdauer ist unterschiedlich; sie hängt u.a. vom Ausmass und Lokalisation der Erkrankung ab.
Sie beträgt im Allgemeinen bei Hautpilzerkrankungen 3?4 Wochen.
Bei Fusspilz sollte ? um Rückfällen vorzubeugen ? auch bei rascher Besserung ca. 2 Wochen über das Verschwinden aller Krankheitszeichen hinaus weiterbehandelt werden.
Um ein Wiederauftreten der Pilzerkrankung zu verhindern, sollten die betroffenen Körperstellen nach dem Waschen gründlich abgetrocknet werden. Dies gilt insbesondere für Finger- und Zehenzwischenräume.
Wenn sich die Beschwerden verschlimmern oder wenn nach vier Wochen Behandlung keine Besserung eintritt, ist der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin aufzusuchen.
Bei einem Pilzbefall der Eichel und Vorhaut, ist im Allgemeinen eine Behandlungsdauer von 1?2 Wochen ausreichend.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Corisol Creme auftreten:
Es können Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen und Hautreaktionen wie z.B. Trockene Haut, Brennen, Blasenbildung, Schwellung, Stechen, Hautrötung, Reizung, Juckreiz, Schuppung, Nesselsucht, Atemnot, Blutdruckabfall bis hin zu Ohnmachtsanfällen auftreten.
Hautreaktionen können auch auf eine bereits bestehende Überempfindlichkeit gegen Cetylstearylalkohol oder einen anderen Bestandteil des Präparates zurückzuführen sein.
Systemische Effekte sind bei der externen Applikation nicht zu erwarten.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «Exp.» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
