Ciclocutan Lösung mit dem Wirkstoff Ciclopiroxolamin ist ein Mittel gegen für den Menschen schädliche (humanpathogene) Pilze, die die Haut und ihre Anhangsgebilde befallen (Dermatophyten, Hefen, Schimmelpilze). Diese Hautpilze werden mit Ciclocutan Lösung in allen Hautschichten zuverlässig vernichtet. Die Begleiterscheinungen wie Juckreiz verschwinden schon nach wenigen Tagen.
Ciclocutan Lösung darf nur auf Verschreibung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin zur Behandlung von bestimmten Pilzerkrankungen verwendet werden.
Die vom Arzt bzw. der Ärztin empfohlenen hygienischen Begleitmassnahmen sollten befolgt werden.
Für die Anwendung am Auge ist Ciclocutan Lösung nicht geeignet.
Bei Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen gegen Inhaltsstoffe sollte der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin aufgesucht werden.
Kinder bis 6 Jahre sollten nicht mit Ciclocutan Lösung behandelt werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Wenn Sie schwanger sind, es werden möchten oder stillen, sollten Sie Ciclocutan Lösung nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin anwenden. Überlassen Sie Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin die Entscheidung, ob sie Ciclocutan Lösung während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit anwenden dürfen.
Soweit nicht anders verordnet, Ciclocutan Lösung mindestens 1-mal täglich auf die erkrankten Hautstellen auftragen und antrocknen lassen. Es empfiehlt sich, die Ciclocutan Lösung leicht einzureiben.
Die Behandlung soll bis zum Abklingen der Hauterscheinungen (im Allgemeinen 2 Wochen) fortgesetzt werden. Zur Vermeidung von Rückfällen wird empfohlen, die Behandlung darüber hinaus noch 1?2 Wochen weiterzuführen.
Eine begonnene Antimykotikatherapie sollte so lange wie vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verordnet durchgeführt werden. Die Krankheitssymptome verschwinden oft bevor die Infektion vollständig ausgeheilt ist. Eine ungenügende Anwendungsdauer oder ein zu frühes Beenden der Behandlung kann ein erneutes Aufflammen der Erkrankung zur Folge haben.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Ciclocutan Lösung auftreten:
Es können gelegentlich vorübergehend Juckreiz oder leichtes Hautbrennen auftreten, die durch den Alkoholgehalt der Ciclocutan Lösung-Zubereitungen verstärkt werden können.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Ciclocutan Lösung soll in der verschlossenen Originalpackung bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) an einem für Kinder unerreichbaren Ort aufbewahrt werden.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP:» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
