Urispas dient zur Behandlung einer gereizten Harnblase (mit Symptomen wie Inkontinenz, schwieriges, häufiges oder schmerzhaftes Wasserlassen), die verschiedene Ursachen haben kann.

Das Arzneimittel wurde Ihnen von Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin zur Behandlung Ihrer gegenwärtigen Erkrankung verschrieben. Wenden Sie deshalb Urispas nie von sich aus für die Behandlung anderer Erkrankungen oder anderer Personen an.
Urispas ersetzt nicht die spezifischen Massnahmen, die zur Ursachenbehandlung der Wasserlassen-Probleme eingesetzt werden.
Urispas darf nicht eingenommen werden bei Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber dem Wirkstoff oder einem Hilfsstoff von Urispas, bei Obstruktionen sowie Entzündungen oder Blutungen des Magen-Darm-Traktes.
Vorsicht ist geboten bei Verdacht auf grünen Star.
Für den sicheren Einsatz von Urispas bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren sind die vorhandenen Erfahrungen ungenügend.
Da Urispas Müdigkeit, Schwindel und Sehstörungen verursachen kann, muss beim Bedienen von Maschinen und im Strassenverkehr äusserste Vorsicht angewandt werden.
Bei gleichzeitiger Einnahme von Urispas mit anderen Arzneimitteln kann es zu Wechselwirkungen kommen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen.
Urispas darf während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit nur auf ausdrückliche Anweisung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin eingenommen werden.
Wenn vom Arzt oder von der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, gilt für Erwachsene und Jugendliche über 12 Jahre die folgende Dosierung: 1 Filmtablette 3mal täglich.
Bei besonders in der Nacht störenden Beschwerden ist es jedoch angezeigt, vor dem Schlafengehen eine vierte Filmtablette einzunehmen.
Bei Verbesserung der Symptome kann die Dosis reduziert werden.
Die Erfahrung bei der Anwendung von Urispas bei Kindern und Jugendlichen unter 12 Jahren ist ungenügend. Die Verabreichung an Kinder kann daher nicht empfohlen werden.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Urispas auftreten:
Urispas kann Verstopfung, Durchfall, Übelkeit, Erbrechen, Mundtrockenheit, Kopfschmerzen, Nesselsucht, Schwindel, Herzklopfen, Sehstörungen und Müdigkeit verursachen. Es können auch allergische Reaktionen wie Hautausschlag und Juckreiz auftreten.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Dieses Arzneimittel sollte bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden.
Die Einnahme von Urispas hat keinen Einfluss auf die Farbe von Harn und Stuhl.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Nach Beendigung der Behandlung die restlichen Filmtabletten Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin zur fachgerechten Entsorgung zurückbringen.
