Terzolin Shampoo ist ein Präparat, das für die Behandlung von Kopfschuppen begleitet mit Juckreiz angewendet wird.

Wie mit anderen Shampoos, ist der Kontakt mit den Augen zu vermeiden. Sollte dies passieren, Augen gründlich mit viel Wasser ausspülen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Es existieren keine kontrollierten Studien zur Anwendung von Terzolin Shampoo während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit. Da jedoch der Wirkstoff nach topischer Applikation von Terzolin Shampoo auf die Kopfhaut nicht messbar in die Blutbahn aufgenommen wird, erscheint das Risiko für das Ungeborene und den Säugling bei einer adäquaten Anwendung während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit vernachlässigbar. Wenn Sie schwanger sind, es werden möchten oder stillen, sollten Sie Terzolin Shampoo dennoch nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin anwenden.
Regelmässig zweimal pro Woche anwenden:
Machen Sie Ihre Haare nass, tragen Sie genügend Terzolin Shampoo auf bis es zum Schäumen kommt. Massieren Sie sanft die gesamte Kopfhaut. Das Shampoo während 3?5 Minuten einwirken lassen. Spülen Sie anschliessend gründlich Ihre Haare. Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang einmal.
Wenn die Kopfschuppen trotz regelmässiger Anwendung von Terzolin Shampoo anhalten, müssen Sie einen Arzt oder eine Ärztin aufsuchen.
Terzolin soll nicht länger als 8 Wochen angewendet werden.
Die Wirksamkeit und Sicherheit von Terzolin Shampoo bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker. bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Terzolin Shampoo auftreten:
Veränderungen der Haarstruktur (z.B. fettiges Haar, trockenes Haar).
Juckreiz.
Reaktionen an der Anwendungsstelle wie trockene, gerötete oder empfindliche Haut, schuppende/schälende Haut, Brennen der Haut, Haarausfall, Entzündungen des Haarfollikels, Pusteln, Kontaktekzem.
Veränderungen der Haarfarbe, Hautausschlag, Akne.
Reizung der Augen (z.B. vermehrter Tränenfluss), Bindehautentzündung.
Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen einschliesslich Nesselsucht oder plötzlicher Schwellung von Gesicht, Augen, Lippen oder Rachenraum.
Terzolin Shampoo darf nicht eingenommen werden. Wurde Terzolin Shampoo versehentlich eingenommen, nehmen Sie bitte Kontakt mit Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin auf. Falls notwendig, wird er oder sie unterstützende Massnahmen ergreifen. Um jedoch eine Aspiration (unbeabsichtigtes Einatmen in die Luftröhre) zu vermeiden, soll kein Erbrechen ausgelöst und keine Magenspülung durchgeführt werden.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Terzolin Shampoo sollte bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und, wie alle Arzneimittel, für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahrt werden. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Flasche stets gut verschlossen wird.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «Exp.» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
