Angiben Lutschtabletten bestehen aus einer Kombination von Cetylpyridin, Lidocain und Menthol.
Während Cetylpyridin für die keimtötende Wirkung der Lutschtablette verantwortlich ist, behebt Lidocain Schmerzen auf der Schleimhaut der Mundhöhle, des Rachens und Kehlkopfes und lindert somit Schluckbeschwerden.
Menthol verleiht den Lutschtabletten einen angenehmen Geschmack.
Angiben wird bei Infektionen oder Entzündungen im Mund- und/oder Rachenraum (Angina, Kehlkopf- oder Rachenentzündung) sowie bei Erkrankungen der Mund- und/oder Rachenschleimhaut (Aphthen, Stomatitis) angewendet.
Nach einer Mandeloperation oder Verlust eines Zahnes kann Angiben ebenfalls eingenommen werden.
Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe darf Angiben nicht angewendet werden.
Bei blutenden Wunden im Mund- oder Rachenraum soll die Lutschtablette ? wenn überhaupt ? mit Vorsicht eingenommen werden.
Bei höherem Fieber oder wenn innerhalb einer Woche keine Besserung eintritt, ist ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufzusuchen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt.
Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, die Apothekerin oder die Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Stündlich eine Tablette langsam im Munde zergehen lassen. Nach Abklingen der akuten Symptome bzw. zur Vorbeugung 1 Tablette alle 3?4 Stunden lutschen. Die Lutschtabletten sind für Diabetiker geeignet.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Angiben auftreten: Ein übermässiger oder längerer Gebrauch von Angiben kann lokale Reizerscheinungen hervorrufen. Im Falle von frischen Verletzungen im Munde besteht die Gefahr von Blutungen.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern.
Ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
