Arkocaps Bärentraube Kapseln enthalten das Pulver der Pflanzenblätter. Diese Blätter werden bei sehr niedrigen Temperaturen getrocknet und pulverisiert, um ein feines Pulver zu gewinnen, in dem alle Wirkstoffe der Pflanze enthalten sind. Die Bärentraube enthält Arbutin, eine Substanz mit leicht antimikrobieller Wirkung. Bärentraubeblätter werden traditionsgemäss als Hilfsmittel bei Blasenstörungen verwendet.
Es ist wichtig, täglich mindestens 2 Liter Flüssigkeit zu trinken, um Nieren und Blase durchzuspülen, beispielsweise mit harntreibenden Infusionen.
Arkocaps Bärentraube darf nicht angewendet werden:
bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren;
bei Überempfindlichkeit gegen Bärentraube und nicht länger als eine Woche.
Hinweis: Bei wiederkehrenden oder länger als eine Woche anhaltenden Schmerzen sowie bei Fieber ist ein Arzt aufzusuchen. Entzündungen der Harnwege können schwerwiegende Folgen haben.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden (bei Externa).
Als Vorsichtsmassnahme sollten keine Medikamente mit Bärentraube (wegen ihres Arbutin-Gehaltes) während der Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit eingenommen werden.
Bei Erwachsenen beträgt die Dosis 3 bis 4 Kapseln dreimal täglich vor oder nach den Mahlzeiten mit einem grossen Glas Wasser.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Arkocaps Bärentraube auftreten: häufige vorkommende, aber ungefährliche braun-grüne Färbung des Urins, sowie Verdauungsbeschwerden (Übelkeit und Erbrechen).
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Den Behälter in der Originalpackung aufbewahren um den Inhalt vor Licht und Feuchtigkeit zu schützen und bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern. Ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
