Dalacin T enthält das Antibiotikum Clindamycin. Auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin wird Dalacin T zur Behandlung von Akne eingesetzt. Dalacin T wirkt gegen die Bakterien, die bei der Entstehung entzündeter Stellen bei Akne eine wichtige Rolle spielen.
Die Dalacin T Lösung enthält Isopropylalkohol, der Brennen und Reizungen der Augen verursachen kann. Bei versehentlichem Kontakt mit empfindlichen Stellen (Augen, geschürfte Haut, Schleimhäuten) ist reichlich mit kaltem Wasser zu spülen. Die Lösung hat einen unangenehmen Geschmack und sollte in der Mundpartie vorsichtig angewendet werden.
Bei empfindlicher Haut empfiehlt sich die Verwendung von Dalacin T Emulsion.
Dalacin T darf bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf Clindamycin oder Lincomycin bzw. einen anderen Bestandteil des Präparates nicht angewendet werden; wenn Sie früher einmal eine Antibiotika bedingte Entzündung des Dickdarms (sog. Antibiotika assoziierte Kolitis) hatten, darf Dalacin T ebenfalls nicht angewendet werden.
Die Wirkung von Dalacin T kann durch Arzneimittel, die Erythromycin (ein anderes Antibiotikum) enthalten, beeinflusst werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Dalacin T soll während der Schwangerschaft nur auf ausdrückliche Anordnung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin angewendet werden.
Dalacin T sollte während der Stillzeit nicht angewendet oder es sollte abgestillt werden.
Dalacin T wird zweimal täglich als dünner Film auf die betroffenen Stellen aufgetragen.
Vor der ersten Anwendung von Dalacin T Lösung das Applikationskissen auf dem Behälter anbringen. Dazu den vorhandenen Deckel entfernen und durch den mitgelieferten Verschluss (treppenartig geformter Deckel mit integriertem Applikationskissen) ersetzen. Beim Aufschrauben des Verschlusses wird das Applikationskissen in den Behälter hineingedreht; den ursprünglich vorhandenen Deckel entsorgen.
Die Emulsion ist vor Gebrauch jeweils zu schütteln.
Die Anwendung von Dalacin T bei Kindern und Jugendlichen wurde nicht untersucht.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Dalacin T auftreten:
Sehr häufig wurden Hautreizungen (mit Brennen, Jucken und Abschälen), Hauttrockenheit und Nesselsucht (verbunden mit Rötungen) beobachtet, häufig gastrointestinale Beschwerden wie Übelkeit und Durchfall sowie fettig/ölige Haut (sog. Seborrhoe). Daneben wurden auch Bauchschmerzen, Augenschmerzen und Entzündungen der Haut beobachtet.
Tritt während der Behandlung mit Dalacin T starker Durchfall auf, muss das Arzneimittel abgesetzt werden und unverzüglich der behandelnde Arzt bzw. die Ärztin aufgesucht werden.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf der Verpackung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
Wirkstoff: Clindamycin. 1 ml Lösung, bzw. 1 g Emulsion enthält 10 mg Clindamycin als Clindamycinphosphat.
Hilfsstoffe: in der Lösung sind Propylenglykol, Isopropylalkohol und Wasser sowie sehr geringe Mengen an Salzsäure und Natronlauge enthalten; in der Emulsion Glycerin, Natriumlaurylsarcosinat, Stearinsäure, Glycerinstearat, Cetylstearyl- und Isostearylalkohol, Wasser sowie das Konservierungsmittel E218.
Dalacin T Lösung: 44926 (Swissmedic).
Dalacin T Emulsion: 48006 (Swissmedic).
Dalacin T erhalten Sie in Apotheken nur gegen ärztliche Verschreibung.
Dalacin T Lösung und Dalacin T Emulsion sind erhältlich in Flaschen zu 60 ml.
Die Flasche der Lösung hat zum einfacheren Auftragen ein Applikationskissen.
