Optrex Augen-Bad mit Hamameliswasser (Destillat) als Wirkstoff ist leicht abschwellend und reizlindernd. Es kann verwendet werden zur Behandlung von leichten Reizungen der Augen (Brennen), ferner zur Pflege und Befeuchtung der Augen z.B. bei Staub, Zugluft, Müdigkeit.
1. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie nur bei ausreichender Beleuchtung lesen und arbeiten.
2. Gestatten Sie Ihren Augenmuskeln so oft wie möglich sich auszuruhen, indem Sie entfernt liegende Gegenstände betrachten.
3. Nehmen Sie weiterhin Ihre regelmässigen Augenarztbesuche wahr.
Optrex Augen-Bad darf nicht angewendet werden solange Kontaktlinsen getragen werden. Kontaktlinsen müssen vor dem Gebrauch von Optrex Augen-Bad entfernt werden.
Träger von weichen Kontaktlinsen sollen mindestens 30 Minuten warten, bis sie die Linsen wieder einsetzen.
Nicht anwenden bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegen einen der Inhaltsstoffe (siehe Zusammensetzung).
Bei grünem Star (Glaukom) darf Optrex Augen-Bad nicht ohne ärztliche Aufsicht angewendet werden.
Bei Säuglingen und Kleinkindern darf das Präparat nur auf ärztliche Vorschrift hin verwendet werden.
Wenn nach 2?3 Tagen keine Besserung eingetreten ist, sollten Sie einen Arzt konsultieren.
Kommt es zu einer Verschlechterung oder treten neue Symptome auf, z.B. eine Abnahme der Sehschärfe, suchen Sie sofort einen Arzt auf.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Erwachsene und Kinder ab 3 Jahren: nicht länger als 2?3 Tage und höchstens 3?4 mal täglich anwenden. (Kleinkinder nur nach ärztlicher Vorschrift.)
Spülen Sie den Augenbecher vor jedem Gebrauch in heissem Wasser aus.
Wenn Sie Make-up verwenden, entfernen Sie dieses mit einem Optrex durchtränkten Wattebausch.
Verdünnen Sie Optrex Augen-Bad nicht.
Die folgenden Diagramme helfen Ihnen bei der Anwendung von Optrex Augen-Bad.
Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 1?4 für das andere Auge mit frischem Augenbad.
Wischen Sie dazwischen die Augen mit einem Optrex-durchtränkten Wattebausch sanft ab.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Optrex Augen-Bad auftreten: Vereinzelt können allergische Reaktionen auftreten. Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Verschliessen Sie die Flasche nach Gebrauch sofort wieder.
Wenn das Präparat irrtümlich eingenommen wurde, sollte ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufgesucht werden.
Bewahren Sie das Arzneimittel bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C), fest verschlossen und ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Lösung nach Anbruch der Flasche nicht länger als 3 Monate verwenden.
Falls Sie im Besitze von verfallenen Arzneimitteln sind, bringen Sie diese zur Entsorgung in die Apotheke oder die Drogerie zurück.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Optrex Augen-Bad enthält als Wirkstoff 130 mg Destillat aus Zweigen von Hamamelis virginiana (DEV 0,5:1) pro 1 ml. Auszugsmittel Wasser. Destillat wird mit Ethanol auf einen Alkoholgehalt von 15% (V/V) eingestellt. Hilfsstoffe wie das Konservierungsmittel Benzalkoniumchlorid sowie Borax und Borsäure zur Neutralisation, um ein Brennen zu verhindern.
