Der Husten- und Bronchialsirup «S» mit Zucker ist ein Kombinationspräparat auf pflanzlicher Basis mit Codein. Der Husten- und Bronchialsirup «S» mit Zucker übt eine husten- und krampflösende sowie schleimlösende Wirkung aus. Er lindert den trockenen Reizhusten und fördert gleichzeitig die Verflüssigung des zähen Schleimes bei akuter Bronchitis. Er beruhigt die entzündeten Schleimhäute und regt deren Absonderung auf milde Weise an. Der Husten- und Bronchialsirup «S» mit Zucker wird bei trockenem Reizhusten (z.B. Grippe), Bronchitis angewendet.
Das Arzneimittel darf nicht angewendet werden bei:
Asthma und Erkrankungen der Atemwege mit starker Schleimabsonderung;
bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe u/o Codein;
Abhängigkeit von Opioiden;
Kindern und Jugendlichen.
Wie bei allen codeinhaltigen Arzneimitteln können Interaktionen mit Schlaf- und Beruhigungsmitteln und anderen Arzneimitteln sowie mit Alkohol auftreten. Besondere Vorsicht ist geboten bei Epilepsie. Bei chronischer Verstopfung sollte das Arzneimittel nicht über längere Zeit angewendet werden. Dieses Arzneimittel kann die Reaktionsfähigkeit, die Fahrtüchtigkeit und Fähigkeit, Werkzeuge oder Maschinen zu bedienen, beeinträchtigen! Dies gilt in verstärktem Masse bei gleichzeitiger Einnahme von Alkohol.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Schwangere oder stillende Frauen dürfen das Arzneimittel nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin verwenden.
Falls nicht anders verordnet:
Erwachsene 3?4-mal täglich je 15 ml.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Husten- und Bronchialsirup «S» mit Zucker auftreten:
Codeinhaltige Präparate können Übelkeit oder Verstopfung, selten nervöse Erscheinungen wie Schläfrigkeit, Müdigkeit, Euphorie hervorrufen. Codein besitzt ein Abhängigkeitspotential. Codeinhaltige Präparate dürfen nicht bei Patienten mit Abhängigkeitserscheinungen angewendet werden.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Arzneimittel ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «Exp.» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern.
