Allergodil saisonal Nasenspray ist ein antiallergisches Arzneimittel zur örtlichen Behandlung des saisonalen allergischen Schnupfens (z.B. Heuschnupfen).
Durch die örtliche Anwendung in der Nase tritt die Wirkung schnell ein (innerhalb 15 Minuten). Ausserdem treten nahezu keine der üblichen Nebenwirkungen wie Müdigkeit, Beeinträchtigung des Fahrverhaltens usw. auf.
Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf den Wirkstoff Azelastin darf Allergodil saisonal Nasenspray nicht angewendet werden.
Bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren.
Allergodil saisonal Nasenspray wird im Allgemeinen gut vertragen. Es liegen keine Angaben über Wechselwirkungen mit anderen Arzneimitteln vor.
Bei Anwendung von Allergodil saisonal Nasenspray sind in Einzelfällen Beschwerden wie Abgeschlagenheit, Mattigkeit, Erschöpfung, Schwindel- oder Schwächegefühl, die auch durch das Krankheitsgeschehen bedingt sein können, möglich. In diesen Fällen kann die Fähigkeit zum Führen eines Kraftfahrzeugs und zur Bedienung von Maschinen beeinträchtigt sein. Besonders sollte beachtet werden, dass Alkohol die Verkehrstüchtigkeit noch weiter verschlechtern kann.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, andere Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Allergodil saisonal Nasenspray sollte, wie andere Arzneimittel, während der Schwangerschaft und der Stillzeit nur auf ausdrückliche Verordnung des Arztes oder der Ärztin angewendet werden.
Beim saisonalen allergischen Schnupfen werden bei Erwachsenen und Jugendlichen ab 12 Jahren, soweit nicht anders verordnet, einmal täglich 2 Sprühstösse in jedes Nasenloch gesprüht.
Die Anwendung soll bei aufrechter Kopfhaltung erfolgen.
Die Behandlungsdauer für einen Heuschnupfen beträgt normalerweise 2 Wochen. Sollten die Symptome länger anhalten, konsultieren Sie bitte Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Häufig kann ein bitterer Geschmack auftreten, welcher auf dem Eigengeschmack des Wirkstoffs Azelastin beruht. Dieser Geschmack ist sehr wahrscheinlich auf das Hochziehen des Sprays in die Nase und das nachfolgende Abfliessen in den Mund-Rachen-Raum zurückzuführen und kann in seltenen Fällen zu Übelkeit führen. Deshalb sollte besonders auf eine sachgerechte Anwendung geachtet werden (siehe «Wie verwenden Sie Allergodil saisonal Nasenspray?»).
Gelegentlich kann es zu einer milden, vorübergehenden Reizung der bereits entzündlich veränderten Nasenschleimhaut kommen, welche sich als Brennen, Jucken, Niesen oder Nasenbluten äussert.
Selten tritt Übelkeit auf.
Sehr selten treten Überempfindlichkeit (Hautauschlag, Juckreiz, Nesselfieber), Schwindel sowie Abgeschlagenheit (Mattigkeit, Erschöpfung) und Schwächegefühl auf.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Das Präparat bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern und ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
Es darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
