DemoPectol neue Formel Bronchialpastillen enthalten nebst zwei ätherischen Ölen und Menthol noch auswurffördernde Pflanzenextrakte, insbesondere den Saft aus der Süssholzwurzel, als Wirkstoffe.
Sie werden empfohlen zur Linderung bei Erkältungshusten und Rachenkatarrh mit Heiserkeit und Halsweh, insbesondere bei übermässiger Bildung von zähem Schleim.
Durch den Gehalt an ätherischen Ölen und den Pflanzenextrakten entfalten die Pastillen eine leicht desinfizierende Wirkung auf die Schleimhäute des Rachens, wirken schleimlösend und erleichtern so den Auswurf. Das zusätzlich enthaltene Glycerin hat einen leicht feuchthaltenden Effekt.
Bei Husten, der länger als 7 Tage anhält, muss ein Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. eine Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin beigezogen werden.
Hinweis für Diabetiker: 1 Pastille enthält ca. 0,055 BW (zuckerfrei, mit Sorbit).
Bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch sind keine besonderen Vorsichtsmassnahmen nötig.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen.
Nicht anwenden bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe (s. «Was ist in den DemoPectol neue Formel Bronchialpastillen enthalten?»).
Nicht anwenden bei Kleinkindern (unter 6 Jahren)!
Nicht anwenden bei schweren Nieren- oder Lebererkrankungen.
Ohne ärztlichen Rat nicht länger als 4 Wochen einnehmen.
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker oder den Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, die Apothekerin oder die Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Falls nicht anders verschrieben:
Erwachsene: stündlich 1 Pastille im Mund zergehen lassen. Maximal 8 Pastillen pro Tag.
Kinder ab 6 Jahren: 2?4 Pastillen täglich im Munde zergehen lassen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von DemoPectol neue Formel Bronchialpastillen auftreten:
Gelegentlich Blähungen oder leichter Durchfall. Insbesondere bei höherer als der empfohlenen Dosierung können mineralcorticoide Effekte (Kaliumverlust, Wasserretention) auf Grund des Süssholzanteils auftreten.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
1 Pastille enthält: Anisöl 3,05 mg, Eucalyptusöl 1,4 mg, Senegawurzel-Trockenextrakt 1,4 mg (Auszugsmittel Ethanol 30% m/m, DEV 3?6:1), Levomenthol 3,85 mg, Glycerin 60 mg, Süssholz-Saft 129,6 mg. Dieses Präparat enthält zusätzlich Hilfsstoffe.
