Hametum® Salbe enthält pflanzliche Wirkstoffe aus Hamamelis virginiana, der virginischen Zaubernuss. Hamamelis war schon vor Jahrhunderten ein fester Bestandteil im medizinischen Wissen der Indianer Nordamerikas. Aus den frischen Blättern und Zweigen der Hamamelis wird heute ein quantifizierter Extrakt für Hametum® Salbe destilliert. Hametum® Salbe besitzt entzündungshemmende, adstringierende und lokal blutstillende Eigenschaften. Sie fördert die Heilung von leichten Hautverletzungen, lindert Juckreiz und wirkt kühlend und schmerzlindernd.
Hametum® Salbe wird verwendet zur Behandlung von leichten Hautverletzungen wie Schürf- und Schnittwunden, rissige, aufgesprungene Haut, bei lokalen Reizungen der Haut und Schleimhäute; trockene und wunde Nasenschleimhäute, Hämorrhoiden, gegen Wundsein bei Kindern und Erwachsenen; Wolf, bei Brandblasen und Sonnenbrand leichteren Grades.
Bei Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe, beispielsweise Wollwachs, darf die Salbe nicht angewendet werden. Tritt eine lokale Verschlechterung ein oder bleibt eine Heilung innerhalb 2-3 Wochen aus, ist ein Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. eine Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin aufzusuchen.
Verschlechtert sich das Allgemeinbefinden (z.B. Fieber), ist unverzüglich ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin zu konsultieren.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie
-an anderen Krankheiten leiden,
-Allergien haben oder
-andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Soweit nicht anders verordnet, Hametum® Salbe je nach Bedarf mehrmals täglich dünn auftragen beziehungsweise leicht einmassieren.
Zur lokalen Behandlung bei Hämorrhoiden 2-mal täglich Salbe mittels aufschraubbarer Kanüle einführen (Tube zu 35 g mit Kanüle).
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Für Hametum® Salbe sind bisher bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch keine Nebenwirkungen beobachtet worden. Wenn Sie dennoch Nebenwirkungen beobachten, informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Bei Neuauftreten von allergischen Reaktionen (beispielsweise Hautrötung, -jucken) ist von der weiteren Anwendung abzusehen und gegebenenfalls ein Arzt oder eine Ärztin zu informieren.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern.
Nicht einnehmen.
Ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
