Sportverletzungen), Schmerzen bei Erkältungskrankheiten sowie gegen Fieber. Zusätzlich werden sie zur Behandlung von Arthroseschmerzen verschrieben.
Paracetamol 1 g Grünenthal Tabletten sind nur auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin einzunehmen.
Wie alle Fieber- und Schmerzmittel soll auch Paracetamol 1 g Grünenthal nicht ohne Verordnung des Arztes oder der Ärztin länger als 5 Tage oder bei Fieber länger als 3 Tage angewendet werden.
Schmerzmittel sollen nicht ohne ärztliche Kontrolle über längere Zeit regelmässig eingenommen werden. Längerdauernde Schmerzen bedürfen einer ärztlichen Abklärung.
Um das Risiko einer Überdosierung zu verhindern, soll sichergestellt werden, dass andere verabreichte Medikamente kein Paracetamol enthalten.
Die vom Arzt oder von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung darf nicht überschritten werden.
Es ist auch zu bedenken, dass die langdauernde Einnahme von Schmerzmitteln ihrerseits dazu beitragen kann, dass Kopfschmerzen weiterbestehen.
Die langfristige Einnahme von Schmerzmitteln, insbesondere bei Kombination mehrerer schmerzstillender Wirkstoffe, kann zur dauerhaften Nierenschädigung mit dem Risiko eines Nierenversagens führen.
Bei vorgeschädigter Niere oder Leber ist eine sorgfältige ärztliche Überwachung notwendig.
Bei einer seltenen erblichen Krankheit der roten Blutkörperchen, dem sogenannten «Glucose-6-Phosphat-Dehydrogenase-Mangel», bei Erkrankungen der Leber, sowie beim gleichzeitigen Gebrauch von Arzneimitteln, welche die Leber beeinflussen, namentlich gewisse Mittel gegen Tuberkulose und Anfallsleiden (Epilepsie) oder bei Arzneimitteln mit dem Wirkstoff Zidovudin, die bei Immunschwäche (AIDS) eingesetzt werden, soll die Einnahme nur nach strengen Anweisungen des Arztes oder der Ärztin erfolgen.
Von der gleichzeitigen Einnahme von Paracetamol 1 g Grünenthal und Alkohol ist abzuraten. Besonders bei fehlender gleichzeitiger Nahrungsaufnahme erhöht sich die Gefahr einer Leberschädigung.
Bei Essstörungen wie Anorexie, Bulimie und sehr starker Abmagerung sowie bei chronischer Mangelernährung ist Vorsicht geboten bei der Einnahme von Paracetamol 1 g Grünenthal.
Bei Flüssigkeitsmangel und verminderten Mengen an Blut ist ebenfalls Vorsicht geboten bei der Einnahme von Paracetamol 1 g Grünenthal.
Einzelne Personen mit Überempfindlichkeit auf Schmerz- oder Rheumamittel können auch auf Paracetamol überempfindlich reagieren (siehe Nebenwirkungen). Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Paracetamol ist ein Wirkstoff, der bei kurzfristiger Anwendung in der angegebenen Dosierung auch in der Schwangerschaft verwendet werden kann.
Obwohl Paracetamol in sehr geringen Mengen in der Muttermilch auftritt, darf gestillt werden.
1 Tablette als Einzeldosis, 4?8 Std. bis zur nächsten Einnahme warten. Die maximale Tagesdosis beträgt 4 Tabletten (= 4 g Paracetamol).
Die ganzen Tabletten sollen zusammen mit etwas Flüssigkeit (z.B. Wasser, Milch, Fruchtsaft) geschluckt werden. Falls nötig kann die Tablette in zwei Teile gebrochen werden (Bruchrille), um diese nacheinander zu schlucken. Bitte beachten Sie jedoch, dass die Teilung an der Bruchrille nicht zur Halbierung der Dosis (500 mg) geeignet ist.
Bei unkontrollierter Einnahme (Überdosis) ist unverzüglich ein Arzt oder eine Ärztin zu konsultieren. Übelkeit, Erbrechen, Bauchschmerzen, Appetitlosigkeit, allgemeines Krankheitsgefühl können ein Hinweis auf eine Überdosierung sein, treten aber erst mehrere Stunden bis zu einem Tag nach Einnahme auf.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Paracetamol 1 g Grünenthal auftreten: Seltene Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen wie Schwellungen der Haut und Schleimhäute oder Hautausschläge bis hin zu schweren Hautreaktionen, Übelkeit, Atemnot oder Asthma. Treten Zeichen einer Überempfindlichkeit auf, so ist das Medikament abzusetzen und der Arzt oder die Ärztin zu konsultieren.
