Das Nachtkerzenöl enthält reichlich essentielle, ungesättigte Fettsäuren, die vom Körper nicht selbst hergestellt werden können und über die Nahrung zugeführt werden müssen. Diese Fettsäuren sind die Vorstufen von Substanzen, die im Organismus vielfältige Wirkungen entfalten. Burgerstein EPO-Nachtkerzenöl-Kapseln werden verwendet zur diätetischen Nahrungsergänzung mit lebenswichtigen, ungesättigten Fettsäuren, insbesondere Cis-Linolsäure und Gamma-Linolensäure, bei erhöhten Blutfettwerten.
Bei Störungen der Fettverdauung, die durch eine Erkrankung der Bauchspeicheldrüse oder der Gallenblase verursacht werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an andern Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) anwenden.
Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrung ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische, wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Sofern nicht anders verordnet, nehmen Erwachsene 3× täglich 2 Kapseln vor den Mahlzeiten mit etwas Flüssigkeit ein.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Burgerstein EPO-Nachtkerzenöl-Kapseln bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Burgerstein EPO Nachtkerzenöl Kapseln auftreten: Gelegentlich kann es zu Übelkeit, Verdauungsstörungen einschliesslich Durchfall und Kopfschmerzen kommen. In seltenen Fällen wurden allergische Erscheinungen beobachtet, die sich durch Hautausschläge, Bauchschmerzen sowie in Einzelfällen durch Temperaturerhöhung äussern.
Es sollte beachtet werden, dass jede Überempfindlichkeitsreaktion einen ernsten Verlauf nehmen kann. In diesen Fällen, insbesondere bei Neurodermitis Patienten mit bekannter Nahrungsmittelallergie oder anderen Allergien, ist eine sorgfältige ärztliche Überwachung nötig.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Burgerstein EPO-Nachtkerzenöl-Kapseln enthalten keinen Zucker und sind für Diabetiker verträglich.
Burgerstein EPO-Nachtkerzenöl-Kapseln sollen ausser Reichweite von Kindern sowie gut verschlossen, trocken und bei Raumtemperatur 15?25 °C aufbewahrt werden. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Jede Kapsel enthält 500 mg Nachtkerzenöl mit mehrfach ungesättigten Fettsäuren, davon mindestens 9,0% (45 mg) Gamma-Linolensäure. Dieses Präparat enthält zusätzlich Hilfstoffe.
