Callimon enthält Vitamin C und Calcium. Calcium ist notwendig für den Aufbau und die Funktion der Knochen, Muskeln und Nerven. Vitamin C ist für den Aufbau von Knochen Zähnen und Bindegewebe von Bedeutung. Callimon wird angewendet zur Calcium- und Vitamin-C- Ergänzung in der Ernährung, wenn ein erhöhter Bedarf an Calcium und Vitamin C besteht.
Hinweis für Diabetikerinnen und Diabetiker: Callimon ist zuckerfrei! Diabetiker, die den Zuckergehalt im Urin selbst bestimmen, sollten Callimon mehrere Tage vor dem Test nicht einnehmen, da Vitamin C das Ergebnis beeinflussen kann.
Callimon sollte nicht verwendet werden bei Überempfindlichkeit auf einen oder mehrere Inhaltsstoffe gemäss Zusammensetzung, erhöhtem Calciumgehalt im Blut (Hypercalcämie), erhöhter Calciumausscheidung im Urin (Hypercalciurie), schwerer Niereninsuffizienz, Nierensteinen oder Eisenspeicherkrankheit. Das Präparat ist nicht für Kinder bestimmt.
Das Arzneimittel sollte nicht über längere Zeit in höherer als der empfohlenen Dosierung eingenommen werden. Insbesondere nicht bei chronischer Nierenfunktionsstörung sowie Steinbildung im Harntrakt. Leiden Sie an Bluthochdruck, sind für Sie die Brausetabletten Callimon nicht geeignet, da diese pro Brausetablette ungefähr 600mg Kochsalz enthalten. Bei oraler Behandlung mit Tetrazyklinen (bestimmten Antibiotika) sollte vor der Einnahme von Callimon ein zeitlicher Abstand von mindestens 3 Stunden eingehalten werden, bei gewissen Antibiotika (Chinolone) sollte deren Einnahme 2 Stunden vor oder 4-6 Stunden nach der Verabreichung von Callimon erfolgen. Bei gleichzeitiger Verabreichung des Schilddrüsenhormons Levothyroxin soll der zeitliche Abstand 4 Stunden betragen. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äußerlich anwenden!
Während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit sollten Sie Callimon, ausser auf ausdrückliche ärztliche Verordnung, nicht einnehmen.
Erwachsene: 1 Brausetablette täglich Lösen Sie die Brausetablette in mindestens 2dl Wasser auf. Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Callimon bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden. Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Gelegentlich erhöhter Calciumgehalt im Blut und erhöhte Ausscheidung im Harn. In seltenen Fällen leichte Störungen im Verdauungstrakt wie Völlegefühl, leichte Blähungen, Verstopfung, Übelkeit, Bauchschmerzen und Durchfall. Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel in der Originalpackung, ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern, trocken und bei Raumtemperatur (15-25°C) aufbewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit <
1 Brausetablette enthält: 235mg Calcium (als Calciumcarbonat und Calciumlactat), 1g Ascorbinsäure (Vitamin-C), Saccharin, Aromatica.
Callimon enthält 225mg Natrium, entspricht ca. 0,6g Kochsalz
