Chlorophyll ist der grüne Farbstoff der Pflanzen. Es hat eine starke desodorierende Wirkung und ist überall dort angezeigt, wo lästige und übelriechende körperliche Ausdünstungen zu beseitigen sind: bei üblem Mundgeruch; bei übermässiger Schweissabsonderung am ganzen Körper; bei künstlichem Darmausgang; während der Menstruation; bei starken Rauchern; nach Alkoholgenuss; nach stark riechenden Speisen.
Bei Patienten und Patientinnen mit Überempfindlichkeit gegen Azofarbstoffe (Farbstoff Brillantschwarz in den Dragées) und Aspirin soll Chlorophyll nicht eingenommen werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Patientinnen und Patienten, die auf Azofarbstoffe, Acetylsalicylsäure sowie Rheuma- und Schmerzmittel (Prostaglandinhemmer) überempfindlich reagieren, sollen Chlorophyll nicht anwenden.
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
2 bis 4mal täglich 1 Dragée mit etwas Flüssigkeit einnehmen. Nach Bedarf kann die Dosis bis zu 6 Dragées pro Tag gesteigert werden. Die Dragées können bei starkem Mundgeruch auch unter die Zunge gelegt werden.
Wird das Dragée unter die Zunge gelegt, kann es zu Grünfärbung der Zähne und Zunge kommen, die aber nach kurzer Zeit wieder verschwindet.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Chlorophyll auftreten:
Der Farbstoff Brillantschwarz kann Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen der Haut und Atmungsorgane auslösen, insbesondere bei Patientinnen und Patienten mit Asthma, Nesselfieber (chronischer Urtikaria)oder mit Überempfindlichkeit auf Acetylsalicylsäure (Aspirin) und andere Rheuma- und Schmerzmittel.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «Exp.» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
