Cimifemin forte enthält den Trockenextrakt, Ze 450, aus Cimicifuga racemosa (Traubensilberkerze) ? Wurzelstock.
Dieses Arzneimittel wird nach einem standardisierten Verfahren hergestellt. Durch die Standardisierung wird eine gleich bleibende Qualität erzielt.
Cimifemin forte wird bei Beschwerden in den Wechseljahren (Hitzewallungen, Schweissausbrüche, Schlafstörungen, Nervosität und Verstimmungszustände) angewendet. Diese können durch Cimifemin forte gelindert werden.
Bei ungewöhnlichem Leistungsabfall, bei Gelbfärbung der Augen oder der Haut, bei dunklem Urin oder entfärbtem Stuhl sollte Cimifemin forte abgesetzt und ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufgesucht werden.
Bei Spannungs- und Schwellungsgefühl in den Brüsten sowie bei Zwischenblutungen, Schmierblutungen oder bei wiederkehrender Regelblutung sollten Sie Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin nehmen.
Dieses Arzneimittel enthält 44 mg verwertbare Kohlenhydrate pro Einzeldosis.
Cimifemin forte darf bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe oder auf Ranunculaceen (Hahnenfussgewächse) nicht angewendet werden. Bei vorbestehender Leberschädigung wird von der Einnahme von Cimifemin forte abgeraten.
Dieses Präparat beeinflusst die körperlichen und psychischen Beschwerden in den Wechseljahren (Klimakterium).
Da bisher keine klinischen Daten vorliegen, die eine günstige Wirkung auf die Knochen feststellen lassen, kann deshalb dieses Präparat nicht zur Vorbeugung der Osteoporose verwendet werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie:
Soweit nicht anders verschrieben, 1-mal täglich 1 Tablette unzerkaut mit etwas Flüssigkeit einnehmen. Cimifemin forte kann längere Zeit angewendet werden, mindestens über einen Zeitraum von 6 Wochen. Die Wirksamkeit von Cimifemin forte nach einer Behandlungsdauer von mehr als 12 Wochen ist nicht untersucht worden. Eine Anwendung über 6 Monate hinaus soll nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin erfolgen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.

Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) in der Originalverpackung aufbewahren.
Das Arzneimittel ist ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
