Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme enthält als Wirkstoff Clotrimazol. Dieser Wirkstoff vernichtet Pilze, die beim Menschen die Haut befallen und zu oberflächlichen Pilzerkrankungen (Mykosen) führen. Darüber hinaus wirkt er auch gegen bestimmte Bakterien auf der Haut.
Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme kann bei Windeldermatitis angewendet werden.
Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme sollte bei Überempfindlichkeit gegen Arzneimittel der gleichen chemischen Gruppe (Antimykotika vom Imidazoltyp) oder einen Bestandteil des Präparates nicht angewendet werden.
Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegen Cetylstearylalkohol, Phenoxyethanol, Macrogol (Polyethylenglykol) und/oder 2-Propanol sollte Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme nicht angwendet werden.
Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme darf nicht auf Mund- und Nasenschleimhaut oder im/am Auge angewendet werden.
Bei ausgedehntem Pilzbefall oder bei Mitbefall der Nägel ist der Arzt aufzusuchen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Clotrimazol Helvepharm darf während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit nicht angewendet werden, es sei denn auf ärztliche Verschreibung.
Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. die Ärztin oder Apothekerin um Rat fragen.
Soweit nicht anders verordnet, wird Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme 2?3 mal täglich auf die erkrankten Stellen dünn aufgetragen und eingerieben. Bei Behandlung von Pilzerkrankungen des Gehörgangs wird ? bei intaktem Trommelfell ? ein Mullstreifen mit Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme bestrichen und als lockere Tamponade in den Gehörgang eingelegt.
Die Anwendung von Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme bei Windeldermatitis sollte 2?3 mal pro Tag mit dünnem Auftragen der Creme auf die betroffenen Stellen erfolgen. Die Behandlung sollte mindestens 7 Tage dauern. Anschliessend sollte ein Arzt/eine Ärztin den Therapieerfolg beurteilen und über die Fortführung der Behandlung entscheiden.
Bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren soll Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme nur gemäss ärztlicher Verschreibung angewendet werden.
Wichtig für eine erfolgreiche Behandlung ist die zuverlässige und ausreichend lange Anwendung von Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme (siehe unten).
Die Behandlungsdauer ist unterschiedlich; sie hängt u.a. von Ausmass und Lokalisation der Erkrankung ab.
Sie beträgt im Allgemeinen bei Hautpilzerkrankungen 3?4 Wochen.
Bei Fusspilz sollte ? um Rückfällen vorzubeugen ? auch bei rascher Besserung ca. 2 Wochen über das Verschwinden aller Krankheitszeichen hinaus weiterbehandelt werden.
Um ein Wiederauftreten der Pilzerkrankung zu verhindern, sollten die betroffenen Körperstellen nach dem Waschen gründlich abgetrocknet werden. Dies gilt insbesondere für Finger- und Zehenzwischenräume.
Wenn sich die Beschwerden verschlimmern oder wenn nach vier Wochen Behandlung keine Besserung eintritt, ist der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin aufzusuchen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Clotrimazol Helvepharm Creme auftreten:
Gelegentlich können Überempfindlichkeiten und Hautreaktionen wie z.B. Brennen, Rötung, Reizung, Schuppung auftreten.
Hautreaktionen können auch auf eine bereits bestehende Überempfindlichkeit gegen die Hilfsstoffe Cetylstearylalkohol, Makrogol oder einen anderen Bestandteil des Präparates zurückzuführen sein.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
