Lapiflu Filmtabletten enthalten eine Mischung verschiedener Heilpflanzen-Trockenextrakte (Birkenblätter, Bärentraubenblätter, Schachtelhalmkraut, Hauhechelwurzel). Den enthaltenen Pflanzen werden traditionsgemäss harntreibende und desinfizierende Eigenschaften zugeschrieben. Lapflu wird verwendet bei Beschwerden im Bereich der Blase und Harnröhre (Harndrang, Beschwerden beim Wasserlösen).
Es ist wichtig bei der Behandlung viel zu trinken (mindestens 1,5 Liter Flüssigkeit pro Tag in Form von Mineralwasser, Tee), um eine ausreichende Durchspülung der Harnwege zu erreichen.
Präparate mit Bärentraubenblätterextrakten sollten kurzzeitig, d.h. nicht länger als 1-2 Wochen und nicht für den Dauergebrauch angewendet werden. Bei wiederkehrenden oder mehrere Tage andauernden Beschwerden sowie bei Fieber ist ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin zu konsultieren. Infektionen der Harnwege können ernsthafte Folgen haben. Wenn Sie bereits an einer chronischen Nieren-oder Harnwegsinfektion leiden oder geschwollene Beine (Ödeme) haben, sollten Sie Lapiflu Filmtabletten nur mit dem ausdrücklichen Einverständnis des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin einnehmen.
Lapiflu sollte nicht angewendet werden falls Neigung zu Allergie auf bestimmte, in der Zusammensetzung des Produktes befindliche Pflanzen, bestehen sollte (siehe Zusammensetzung).
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin wenn Sie:
- an anderen Krankheiten leiden
- Allergien haben
- andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Lapiflu Filmtabletten sollten nicht angewendet werden, falls Neigung zu Allergien auf bestimmte, in der Zusammensetzung des Produktes befindliche Pflanzen, bestehen sollte (siehe Zusammensetzung).
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrung ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker oder den Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, die Apothekerin oder die Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Lapiflu Filmtabletten sind nur für Erwachsene bestimmt. Für Kinder nur nach Anweisung des Arztes. Die empfohlene Dosis lautet: bis 3 mal täglich, 2-4 Tabletten vor dem Essen mit reichlich Flüssigkeit einnehmen, nicht zerkauen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben das Medikament wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Lapiflu auftreten:
Allergische Reaktionen (Hautjucken, -ausschläge); in diesem Fall ist die Behandlung abzubrechen, resp. ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin zu konsultieren.
Bei magenempfindlichen Personen können gelegentlich Magenschmerzen auftreten.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Das Medikament darf nur bis zu dem auf der Verpackung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.

Medikamente immer in der Originalpackung bei Raumtemperatur (15-25°C) aufbewahren und vor Nässe und Feuchtigkeit schützen.
