+-Was ist esberitop und wann wird es angewendet?

esberitop enthält Extrakte aus drei Heilpflanzen (Lebensbaumtriebspitzen, wilder Indigo-Wurzel, Wurzel des Sonnenhutes). Dieses Arzneimittel wird nach einem standardisierten Verfahren hergestellt. Durch die Standardisierung wird eine gleich bleibende Qualität erzielt. esberitop aktiviert das körpereigene Abwehrsystem und steigert die Widerstandsfähigkeit des Gesamtorganismus. esberitop eignet sich deshalb bei Anfälligkeit gegen Erkältungskrankheiten und bei Erkältungen.

+-Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?

Bei Erkältungsanfälligkeit von Kindern empfiehlt es sich, einen Arzt oder eine Ärztin zu konsultieren. Das Präparat ist für Säuglinge nicht geeignet.

Dieses Arzneimittel enthält ca. 230 mg verwertbare Kohlenhydrate pro Einzeldosis.

+-Wann darf esberitop nicht oder nur mit Vorsicht angewendet werden?

esberitop darf nicht angewendet werden bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe oder Korbblütler. Im Falle des Auftretens von Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen oder von Nebenwirkungen, wie unter «Welche Nebenwirkungen kann esberitop haben?» beschrieben, ist die Behandlung abzubrechen und sofort ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin zu konsultieren. Aus grundsätzlichen Erwägungen nicht anzuwenden bei progredienten (fortschreitenden) Krankheiten wie Tuberkulose, Leukosen (Leukämien), Kollagenosen (entzündliche Bindegewebs-Erkrankungen), Multipler Sklerose, AIDS-Erkrankung, HIV-Infektion und Autoimmun-Erkrankungen (Antikörper-Bildung gegen körpereigenes Gewebe). Bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch sind keine weiteren Vorsichtsmassnahmen notwendig.

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie

  • an anderen Krankheiten leiden,
  • Allergien haben oder
  • andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte!) einnehmen!
+-Darf esberitop während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit eingenommen werden?

Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker, oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.

+-Wie verwenden Sie esberitop?

Erwachsene: 3× täglich 3-4 Tabletten mit wenig Flüssigkeit einnehmen oder lutschen.

Kinder ab 6 Jahren: 3× täglich 1-2 Tabletten einnehmen oder lutschen.

Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.

Nicht über längere Zeit (länger als 8 Wochen) ununterbrochen einnehmen.

+-Welche Nebenwirkungen kann esberitop haben?

Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von esberitop auftreten: In seltenen Fällen wurden Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen (zum Beispiel Hautausschläge, Juckreiz, Gesichtsschwellung, Atemnot und Blutdruckabfall), Störungen im Magen-Darm-Trakt (zum Beispiel Bauchschmerzen, Übelkeit und Durchfall) sowie Schwindel beobachtet. In diesen Fällen ist die Behandlung abzubrechen und sofort ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin zu konsultieren (siehe auch unter «Wann darf esberitop nicht oder nur mit Vorsicht angewendet werden?»).

Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.

Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.

Bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) in der Originalverpackung aufbewahren.

Das Arzneimittel ist ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren.

Wirkstoff: 1 Tablette enthält: alkoholisch-wässrigen Extrakt aus 2 mg Lebensbaumspitzen, 7.5 mg Purpur-/Sonnenhutwurzel (1:1), 10 mg Färberhülsenwurzel (DEV 1:11, Auszugsmittel Ethanol 30% (V/V)).
