Fenivir Creme und Getönte Creme werden zur lokalen Behandlung von Fieberbläschen an den Lippen (= Herpes labialis) angewendet. Sie gehören in die Gruppe der Arzneimittel, welche gegen Viren wirksam sind.

+-Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?

Der Wirkstoff von Fenivir Creme und Getönte Creme ist nicht gegen alle Mikroorganismen, welche Infektionskrankheiten verursachen, wirksam. Die Anwendung eines falsch gewählten oder nicht richtig dosierten Arzneimittels kann Komplikationen verursachen. Wenden Sie das Präparat deshalb nie von sich aus für die Behandlung anderer Erkrankungen oder anderer Personen an.

+-Wann dürfen Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme nicht angewendet werden?

Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme dürfen nicht angewendet werden bei einer bekannten Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber den Wirkstoffen Penciclovir, Famciclovir oder einem der Hilfsstoffe, z.B. Propylenglykol.

+-Wann ist bei der Anwendung von Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme Vorsicht geboten?
  • Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme dürfen nicht auf Schleimhäuten (z.B. im Mund oder im Genitalbereich) oder im Auge angewendet werden.
  • Patienten mit geschwächter Immunabwehr sollen Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme nur gemäss ärztlicher Verschreibung anwenden.
  • Wenn Sie nicht sicher sind, was die Ursache des Bläschens, der Infektion oder verletzten Stelle ist, dann wenden Sie sich an Ihren Arzt/Ihre Ärztin.
  • Fenivir Creme und Getönte Creme wurden für die Anwendung bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren nicht geprüft und sollen deshalb bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren nicht angewendet werden.

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie

  • an anderen Krankheiten leiden,

+-Dürfen Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit angewendet werden?

Während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit dürfen Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme nicht angewendet werden, ausser auf ärztliche Verschreibung. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.

+-Wie verwenden Sie Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme?

Es ist wichtig, die Behandlung mit Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme möglichst unmittelbar nach dem Auftreten der ersten Krankheitserscheinungen (z.B. Brennen, Juckreiz) zu beginnen.

Erwachsene, ältere Patienten und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren: Tragen Sie Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme tagsüber (nach dem Aufstehen bis zum Zubettgehen) ca. alle 2 Stunden mit sauberem Finger auf die betroffenen Stellen der Lippen und des Gesichtes auf. Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme können mit einem Wattestäbchen aufgetragen werden. Fenivir Creme kann auch mit einem Applikator zum Einmalgebrauch (Fenivir Creme 2 g mit Applikatoren) aufgetragen werden. Waschen Sie Ihre Hände vor und nach dem Auftragen der Creme.

Die Behandlungsdauer beträgt 4 Tage.

Wenn sich die Erkrankung verschlimmert oder nach 4 Tagen keine Heilung der Fieberbläschen eintritt, ist der Arzt/die Ärztin zu konsultieren.

Kinder: Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme sollen bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren nicht angewendet werden, da die Präparate für die Anwendung bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren nicht geprüft wurden.

Hinweise zur Anwendung und Behandlungsdauer: Es ist gezeigt worden, dass ein Behandlungsbeginn mit Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme auch nach der Bläschenbildung deren Abheilung beschleunigt, die Schmerzen lindert und die Virusausscheidung verkürzt. Halten Sie die Behandlungsdauer von 4 Tagen auch dann ein, wenn Sie sich bereits vorher besser fühlen, und brechen Sie die Behandlung nicht ab, wenn sich nicht sofort eine Besserung einstellt. Eine ungenügende Anwendungsdauer oder ein zu frühes Beenden der Behandlung kann ein erneutes Aufflammen der Krankheit zur Folge haben. Wenn Sie vergessen haben, die Creme zur vorgesehenen Zeit aufzutragen, dann holen Sie dies baldmöglichst nach. Die folgenden Anwendungen sollen wieder alle 2 Stunden erfolgen. Sollten Sie eine grosse Menge der Creme auf einmal auf die Haut aufgetragen haben, so sind ausser leichten Hautreizungen keine schädigenden Wirkungen zu erwarten. Wenn Sie Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme einmal versehentlich geschluckt haben, sind ausser Reizungen an der Mundschleimhaut ebenfalls keine schädigenden Wirkungen zu erwarten. In beiden Fällen sind keine speziellen Behandlungen notwendig. Sollten Sie dennoch Bedenken haben, so wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.

Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.

+-Welche Nebenwirkungen können Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme haben?

Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme auftreten: Fenivir Creme oder Getönte Creme können bei einigen Patienten zu Reaktionen an der Verabreichungsstelle führen, z.B. vorübergehendes Brennen, Stechen oder Taubheitsgefühl. Selten können Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen wie Nesselfieber, Gesichtsschwellungen und Hautausschläge auftreten: In diesen Fällen ist die Behandlung abzubrechen und sofort der Arzt/die Ärztin zu konsultieren.
