+-Was ist Hydergin/Hydergin FAS und wann wird es angewendet?

Auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin.

Ihr Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin hat Ihnen Hydergin/Hydergin FAS verschrieben, um die altersbedingte Beeinträchtigung der Funktion der Hirnzellen zu verbessern. Es wirkt bei Konzentrationsschwäche, Mangel an Eigeninitiative, Gedächtnisstörungen und Zurückgezogenheit sowie bei Schwindel. Diese Wirkungen beruhen darauf, dass Hydergin/Hydergin FAS den Stoffwechsel und die Blutversorgung der Hirnzellen verbessert.

+-Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?

Zusätzlich zu dieser Behandlung empfehlen wir Ihnen, sich ein anregendes Programm vorzunehmen und einzuhalten. Sinnvoll sind zum Beispiel körperliche Betätigungen wie mässig Sport treiben, Wandern, Radfahren etc. sowie geistig anregende Aktivitäten wie Lektüre, Rätsel lösen, Denksportaufgaben, Schachspielen, Jassen etc. Im gesellschaftlichen Umfeld sollten Sie Kontakte aktiv pflegen, Gespräche führen, an Diskussionen teilnehmen etc.

+-Wann darf Hydergin/Hydergin FAS nicht angewendet werden?

Wenn Sie eine Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe von Hydergin aufweisen oder an zu niedrigem Blutdruck (Hypotonie), Erkrankungen der Blutgefässe (insbesondere Verschlusskrankheiten der Arterien), Herzerkrankungen, schweren Leberfunktionsstörungen oder Blutvergiftung leiden oder während der Stillzeit, dürfen Sie Hydergin/Hydergin FAS nicht einnehmen. Treten diese Störungen unter Behandlung mit Hydergin/Hydergin FAS auf, ist das Arzneimittel abzusetzen und der Arzt oder die Ärztin zu benachrichtigen.

+-Wann ist bei der Einnahme von Hydergin/Hydergin FAS Vorsicht geboten?

Dieses Arzneimittel kann aufgrund möglicher Nebenwirkungen die Reaktionsfähigkeit, die Fahrtüchtigkeit und die Fähigkeit Werkzeuge oder Maschinen zu bedienen beeinträchtigen!

Bei Leberfunktionsstörungen oder schweren Nierenfunktionsstörungen, wenn Ihr Herz eine extrem langsame Schlagfolge (Bradykardie), d.h. einen Pulsschlag von weniger als 40-50 Schlägen pro Minute aufweist oder wenn Sie gleichzeitig Arzneimittel gegen bakterielle Erkrankungen (Antibiotika, Arzneimittel gegen HIV-Infektion [Proteasehemmer]), Pilzerkrankungen (Antimykotika) oder Erkrankungen des Magens (wie beispielsweise Cimetidin) oder Grapefruit-Saft einnehmen, sollten Sie vor der Einnahme des Präparates Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin befragen.

Insbesondere bei Anwendung über eine lange Zeitdauer besteht möglicherweise ein erhöhtes Risiko von Gewebsveränderungen der Organe (fibrotische Erkrankungen z.B. Herz oder Lunge). Anzeichen dafür können z.B. Rückenschmerzen, Schwellungen in den Beinen oder Probleme beim Wasser lösen sein, bitte informieren Sie in solchen Fällen Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin.

Hydergin soll nicht gleichzeitig mit anderen Arzneimitteln mit ähnlichen Wirksubstanzen wie Hydergin (Mutterkornalkaloiden) eingenommen werden.

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie

  • an anderen Krankheiten leiden,
  • eine Laktose-Intoleranz haben,
  • Allergien haben,
  • andere Arzneimittel mit ähnlichen Wirksubstanzen wie Hydergin (Mutterkornalkaloiden) einnehmen oder
  • sonstige Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
+-Darf Hydergin/Hydergin FAS während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit eingenommen werden?

Hydergin/Hydergin FAS darf während der Schwangerschaft und in der Stillzeit nicht eingenommen werden.

+-Wie verwenden Sie Hydergin/Hydergin FAS?

Die volle Wirkung des Arzneimittels ist meist erst nach einigen Wochen spürbar. Eine längere Einnahme ist zu empfehlen (3 Monate oder mehr). Die Einnahme muss regelmässig erfolgen.

Die Tabletten oder Tropfen sind vorzugsweise während einer bzw. während den Mahlzeiten einzunehmen. Die Tabletten werden mit einem Glas Wasser eingenommen.

  • 1 Tablette zu 1.5 mg 3× täglich oder
  • 30 Tropfen (= eine Dosierpipette) zu 1 mg/ml 3× täglich oder
  • 1 Filmtablette FAS zu 4.5 mg 1× täglich.

Tropflösung 1 mg/ml: Das Fläschchen senkrecht über ein Glas halten und durch sanftes Schütteln oder Klopfen durch den Finger auf den Boden des Fläschchens die Tropfen ins Glas fallen lassen. Nach Belieben mit einem Getränk verdünnen.

Da zu Hydergin keine ausreichenden Daten zur Wirksamkeit und Unbedenklichkeit bei Kindern und Jugendlichen unter 18 Jahren vorhanden sind, wird Hydergin nicht empfohlen.

Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.

Wenn Sie versehentlich eine Überdosis an Tabletten oder Tropfen genommen haben als Ihnen verschrieben wurde, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin informieren.

+-Welche Nebenwirkungen kann Hydergin/Hydergin FAS haben?

Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Hydergin/Hydergin FAS auftreten.

Es kann vor allem bei höheren Dosen, bei Einnahme vor dem Essen oder zu Beginn einer Behandlung Übelkeit auftreten. Dies erfordert in der Regel jedoch keine Unterbrechung oder einen Abbruch der Behandlung.

Selten können eine Verlangsamung des Herzschlags (Bradykardie), Übelkeit, Nasenverstopfung, Kopfschmerzen oder Magenbeschwerden vorkommen. Falls diese Nebenwirkungen anhalten, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin informieren.

Selten kann es zu Erbrechen, Durchfall, Schwindel, Blutdruckabfall oder Hautreaktionen kommen. Bei nicht bestimmungsgemässer, mehrjähriger Anwendung in hohen Dosen wurden sehr selten Bindegewebsveränderungen im Sinne von Bindegewebsverdickungen (Fibrosen) des Bindegewebes des Bauchfells (Retroperitonealraum) (z.B. mit Rückenschmerzen und Problemen beim Wasserlösen) beobachtet.

Ferner wurde über verminderten Appetit, verminderte Sensitivität der Haut, verschwommenes Sehen, Bauchschmerzen, vermehrtes Schwitzen, Unwohlsein und Kraftlosigkeit berichtet

Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.

Ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.

Haltbarkeit

Tabletten: Vor Licht geschützt und nicht über 25 °C aufbewahren.

Tropflösung: Nicht über 25 °C aufbewahren.

FAS-Filmtabletten: Nicht über 25 °C aufbewahren.

Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.

Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.

1 Tablette Hydergin enthält: 1.5 mg Co-Dergocrin-Mesilat*; sowie Hilfsstoffe.

Tropflösung 1 mg/ml = 20 Tropfen = 1 mg enthält: Co-Dergocrin-Mesilat*, Alkohol 29% (Vol.) sowie Hilfsstoffe.

1 Filmtablette Hydergin FAS enthält: 4.5 mg Co-Dergocrin-Mesilat*; sowie Hilfsstoffe.

*bestehend zu gleichen Teilen aus Dihydroergocornin, Dihydroergocristin und Dihydroergokryptin als Mesilat.
