Liberol Salbe wird verwendet zum Einreiben bei der symptomatischen Behandlung von Erkältungen mit Husten, Schnupfen und Entzündung der oberen Luftwege. Die Eigenschaften der Liberol Salbe beruhen auf der Kombination ätherischer Öle und Kampfer, welche atmungserleichternd und schleimlösend wirken.
Liberol Salbe eignet sich nicht für Kinder unter 2 Jahren.
Liberol Salbe darf nicht angewendet werden bei Überempfindlichkeit auf ätherische Öle und Kampfer!
Nicht auf geschädigter Haut oder auf Schleimhäuten anwenden.
Bei Kindern bis zum 7. Altersjahr ist die Anwendung mit Zurückhaltung resp. Vorsicht durchzuführen.
Bei Patienten mit Asthma bronchiale, Keuchhusten, Pseudokrupp oder anderen Atemwegserkrankungen, die mit einer ausgeprägten Überempfindlichkeit der Atemwege einhergehen, ist bei der Anwendung Vorsicht geboten. Das Einatmen von Dämpfen nach äusserer Einreibung kann zur Verkrampfung der Bronchialmuskulatur führen.
Bei Patienten/Patientinnen mit vorgeschädigten Nieren darf Liberol Salbe nur kurzfristig und nicht grossflächig angewendet werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie
Während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit darf Liberol Salbe nicht angewendet werden.
Bei Erkältung mit Husten, Schnupfen, Katarrh: Brust und Rücken abends mit Liberol Salbe einreiben, gut massieren und warm zudecken. Die Behandlung kann bei Bedarf bis fünfmal täglich wiederholt werden.
Erwachsene und Kinder ab 7 Jahren: ca. 2 cm langer Salbenstrang auftragen.
Kinder ab 2 Jahren bis 7 Jahren: ca. 0,5-1 cm langer Salbenstrang auftragen.
Nach der Anwendung Hände gut waschen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Liberol Salbe auftreten:
Gelegentlich: Hautreizungen (Jucken, Rötung), Kontaktekzeme, Reizerscheinungen an Schleimhäuten, Hustenreiz, Verstärkung der Verkrampfung der Bronchien. In diesem Fall ist die Behandlung abzubrechen und gegebenenfalls ein Arzt/eine Ärztin zu konsultieren.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Arzneimittel nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) aufbewahren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
1 g Salbe enthält Kampfer razemisch 60 mg, ätherische Öle: Latschenkieferöl 60 mg, Thymianöl 60 mg, Eucalyptusöl 60 mg. Das Präparat enthält zusätzlich Hilfsstoffe sowie den Farbstoff Chlorophyll E 141.
