Magnesiocard enthält als Wirkstoff Magnesium-L-aspartat-hydrochlorid-trihydrat.
Es wird vom Arzt/der Ärztin verschrieben zur Behandlung von Magnesiummangel, der auftreten kann z.B. bei Fehlernährung, Therapie mit Entwässerungsmitteln, Durchfall, Alkoholmissbrauch, etc. Weiter wird es eingesetzt zur Deckung eines erhöhten Bedarfs im Hochleistungssport und während der Schwangerschaft besonders zur Verhinderung eines Frühaborts, sowie bei der Behandlung der vorzeitigen Wehentätigkeit, schwangerschaftsinduzierter Hypertension oder Schwangerschaftshochdruck; ferner bei gewissen Herzrhythmusstörungen und neuromuskulärer Übererregbarkeit; es kann angewendet werden bei nächtlichen Wadenkrämpfen.
Dieses Arzneimittel enthält 0 g verwertbare Kohlenhydrate pro Einzeldosis.
Magnesiocard darf nicht eingenommen werden bei schweren Nierenfunktionsstörungen mit Ausscheidungshemmung, bei Flüssigkeitsmangel des Körpers und bei Veranlagung zu Harnwegsinfektionen mit Bildung von Magnesium-Ammonium-Phosphatsteinen. In diesen Fällen muss der Serum-Magnesium-Spiegel durch Ihren Arzt/Ihre Ärztin überwacht werden.
Magnesiocard 7.5 Brausetabletten enthalten Aspartam und dürfen von Personen mit Phenylketonurie nicht eingenommen werden.
Vorsicht ist geboten bei mässig eingeschränkter Nierenfunktion.
Magnesiocard sollte nicht gleichzeitig mit Tetrazyklinen (ein Antibiotikum) eingenommen werden. Eine Einnahme beider Arzneimittel in zeitlichem Abstand von 2?3 Stunden ist jedoch möglich. Bei gleichzeitiger Einnahme von Magnesium und Cholecalciferol besteht eine Tendenz zu erhöhten Calciumspiegeln im Blut.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Wenn vom Arzt/der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, sollte Magnesiocard 7.5 Brausetabletten wie folgt eingenommen werden:
Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 15 Jahren: 2 Mal täglich 1 Brausetablette in einem Glas Wasser auflösen und trinken.
Sie sollten Magnesiocard vor dem Essen einnehmen.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Magnesiocard auftreten: Gelegentlich kann Durchfall und weicher Stuhl auftreten.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel ist ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren.
Es darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Magnesiocard 7.5 Brausetabletten müssen bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) gelagert werden. Sollten Sie Brausetabletten besitzen, deren Haltbarkeit abgelaufen ist, so bringen Sie sie bitte in Ihre Apotheke zur Vernichtung zurück.
