Bei Hauterkrankungen und bei Hautverletzungen darf Caprisana Salbe nicht angewendet werden. Ebenso ist von einer Anwendung von Caprisana Salbe abzusehen bei bekannter Allergie auf ätherische Öle im Allgemeinen oder auf Terpentinöl im Besonderen sowie bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegen die verwendeten Hilfsstoffe.
Bei Patienten mit vorgeschädigten Nieren darf Caprisana Salbe nur kurzfristig und nicht grossflächig angewendet werden
Grundsätzlich nicht anwenden bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren
Caprisana Salbe soll nicht auf offene Hautstellen aufgetragen werden. Ein Kontakt mit Augen und Schleimhäute ist zu vermeiden. Vorsicht ist auch geboten bei Neigung zu Allergien.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie
- an anderen Krankheiten leiden,
- Allergien haben oder
- andere Medikamente (auch Selbstgekaufte !)
einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden
Während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit darf Caprisana Salbe nicht angewendet werden, es sei denn kurzfristig, nicht grossflächig und auf ärztlicher Verschreibung.

Soweit nicht anders verschrieben, 2-4 mal täglich ein nussgrosses Stück Salbe auf der schmerzenden Stelle in die Haut einreiben.
Eine mehr als 2monatige, ununterbrochene Anwendung sollte vermieden werden.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit dieses Arzneimittels bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Caprisana Salbe auftreten: In seltenen Fällen, insbesondere bei empfindlicher Haut oder bei langandauernder Anwendung, kann es zu Sensibilisierungen kommen, die ein Absetzen des Präparates notwendig machen. Eine leichte und bald vorübergehende Hautrötung ist jedoch, bedingt durch die durchblutungsfördernden Eigenschaften, normal. Sollten sich bei der Anwendung der Caprisana Salbe wider Erwarten ungewohnte Missempfindungen (z.B. starke und anhaltende Hautrötung, Bläschenbildungen, Hautjucken oder ?brennen) einstellen, wird empfohlen, die Behandlung abzubrechen und den Arzt oder die Ärztin zu befragen.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
