Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat ist ein Hustenmittel, das den Wirkstoff Butamirat enthält. Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat lindert den Husten und den Hustenreiz bei Erkältungen. Auf ärztliche Verschreibung kann es auch für die Behandlung akutem Husten anderer Ursache verwendet werden.

+-Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?

Rauchen trägt zur Entstehung von Husten bei («Raucherhusten»). Sie können die Wirkung von Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat fördern, indem Sie auf das Rauchen verzichten.

Hinweis für Diabetiker : Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat ist zuckerfrei und mit Sorbitol und Acesulfam gesüsst.

Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat dürfen Sie nicht anwenden, wenn Sie gegen den Wirkstoff Butamirat oder einen der Hilfsstoffe allergisch reagieren.

Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat dürfen Sie nicht anwenden wenn Sie oder Ihr Kind an einer angeborenen Störung des Zuckerstoffwechsels (sogenannte Fructose-Intoleranz) leiden; der Sirup ist mit Sorbit gesüsst, aus welchem bei der Verdauung Fructose (Fruchtzucker) entsteht.

+-Wann ist bei der Einnahme/Anwendung von Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat Vorsicht geboten?

Bei Husten, der länger als 7 Tage anhält, muss ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin konsultiert werden, um die Ursache des Hustens abzuklären.

Bei einem Husten mit starker Schleimabsonderung oder Auswurf sollten Sie anstelle von Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat eher schleimlösende Mittel (Expektorantien) anwenden. Die durch Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat bewirkte Hustendämpfung kann zu einem unerwünschten Stau des Bronchialschleims in den Atemwegen führen, wodurch das Auftreten einer Atemwegsinfektion oder eines Bronchialkrampfes begünstigt wird. Deshalb ist die gleichzeitige Anwendung von Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat und Expektorantien zu vermeiden. Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin berät Sie in solchen Fällen gern. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte !) einnehmen.

+-Darf Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit eingenommen/angewendet werden?

Während einer Schwangerschaft und der Stillzeit müssen Sie Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat nur auf ärztlichen Rat anwenden.

+-Wie verwenden Sie Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat?

Falls nicht anders vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verordnet:

Kinder von 2?6 Jahren: 3 x tägl. 5 ml.

Kinder von 6-12 Jahren: 3 x tägl. 10 ml.

Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren: 3 x tägl. 15 ml.

Erwachsene: 4 x tägl. 15 ml.

Beigefügten Messbecher benützen.

Der Sirup sollte möglichst vor den Mahlzeiten eingenommen werden, die letzte Dosis vor dem Schlafengehen. Zwischen zwei Einnahmen bzw. Verabreichungen sollten mindestens 4 Stunden liegen.

Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.

+-Welche Nebenwirkungen kann Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat haben?

Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat auftreten: In seltenen Fällen kann es zu Hautallergien, Übelkeit, Durchfall oder Schwindel kommen.

Bei Überdosis d.h. bei Einnahme bzw. Verabreichung einer zu grossen Menge Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat können Schläfrigkeit, Übelkeit, Erbrechen und Durchfall, aber auch Gleichgewichtsstörungen und Blutdruckabfall auftreten.

Sollten solche Erscheinungen verstärkt auftreten oder wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.

Phytopharma Husten Sirup mit Butamirat ist bei Raumtemperatur (15-25°C) und ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis  zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
