Rhinogen enthält den Wirkstoff Natrium Hyaluronat, eine natürliche, feuchtigkeitspendende Substanz. Rhinogen ist eine Nasencreme, die der ausgetrockneten Nasenschleimhaut Feuchtigkeit zuführt und bei Nasentrockenheit angewendet wird. Auf Verordnung eines Arztes oder einer Ärztin kann Rhinogen auch zur Förderung der Nasenschleimhaut-Heilung nach einem operativen Eingriff angewendet werden.
Rhinogen darf bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem der Bestandteile der Creme (siehe «Was ist in Rhinogen enthalten?») nicht angewendet werden.
Bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch sind keine besonderen Vorsichtsmassnahmen zu befolgen.
Informieren Sie ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an einer anderen Krankheit leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Es wurden bisher keine systematischen wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen durchgeführt.
Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Wenn vom Arzt oder der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, geben Sie 3?4mal am Tag eine kleine Menge Creme in beide Nasenöffnungen und massieren leicht die Nasenflügel. Maximale Behandlungsdauer: 2?4 Wochen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Rhinogen Nasencreme bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Gelegentlich kann an der Nasenschleimhaut ein leichter Juckreiz auftreten. In sehr seltenen Fällen, besonders bei länger dauernder Anwendung, kann Natrium Hyaluronat oder eventuell einer der in Rhinogen enthaltenen Hilfsstoffe allergische Reaktionen auslösen. In diesem Fall wird empfohlen, die Behandlung abzubrechen und den Arzt zu informieren.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Rhinogen sollte an einem trockenen Ort und bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C), sowie ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Falls Sie noch Arzneimittel besitzen, deren Verfalldatum abgelaufen ist, bringen Sie diese bitte zur Entsorgung in die Apotheke oder Drogerie zurück.
