Auf Empfehlung des Arztes oder Apothekers bzw. der Ärztin oder Apothekerin kann Rombellin 5 mg Biotin auch bei seborrhoischen Hauterkrankungen beim Säugling angewendet werden.
Gleichzeitige Eiereiweissernährung ist zu meiden, da dadurch die Wirkung von Rombellin 5 mg Biotin Tabletten vermindert wird. Beim Kind soll eine adäquate Hautpflege durchgeführt werden. Lassen Sie sich vom Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. von der Ärztin oder Apothekerin beraten.
Bis heute sind keine Anwendungseinschränkungen bekannt.
Es bestehen Hinweise, dass krampflindernde Mittel zur Behandlung von Epilepsie die Wirkung von Biotin erniedrigen.
Gleichzeitige übermässige Einnahme von Eiereiweiss sollte vermieden werden, da dadurch die Wirkung von Rombellin 5 mg Biotin beeinträchtigt wird.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker oder den Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, die Apothekerin oder die Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Soweit nicht anders verordnet, täglich 1 Tablette zu 5 mg vor dem Essen unzerkaut mit Flüssigkeit einnehmen.
Säuglinge, die künstlich ernährt werden, erhalten 1?2 zerriebene Tabletten zu 5 mg täglich mit Flüssigkeit (im Schoppen). Bei Brustkindern erhält die Mutter morgens und abends je 1 Tablette zu 5 mg während 1?2 Wochen. Es ist zu empfehlen, dass die Mutter gleichzeitig ein Vitamin-B-Komplex-Präparat während 7?14 Tagen einnimmt.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Für Rombellin 5 mg Biotin sind bei Einhalten der empfohlenen Dosierung bisher keine Nebenwirkungen beobachtet worden.
Wenn Sie dennoch Nebenwirkungen bemerken, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.

Rombellin 5 mg Biotin ist trocken und bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) zu lagern. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
