Tobrex Augentropfen enthalten ein Antibiotikum zur Behandlung von Augeninfektionen. Dieses Arzneimittel ist rezeptpflichtig und nur auf ärztliche Verschreibung anzuwenden.
Das in Tobrex Augentropfen enthaltene Antibiotikum Tobramycin ist nicht gegen alle Erreger wirksam, die Augeninfektionen verursachen. Eine unkorrekte Anwendung des Arzneimittels kann unter Umständen Komplikationen verursachen. Daher Tobrex Augentropfen nie von sich aus zur Behandlung anderer Erkrankungen oder für Drittpersonen verwenden. Auch bei späteren neuen Infektionen am Auge Tobrex Augentropfen nur auf erneute ärztliche Verschreibung anwenden.
Während der Behandlung mit Tobrex Augentropfen keine Kontaktlinsen tragen.
Bei bekannter oder vermuteter Überempfindlichkeit (Allergie) auf einen Inhaltsstoff von Tobrex Augentropfen.
Anwendung während der Schwangerschaft und in der Stillzeit nur mit ausdrücklicher Genehmigung des Arztes bzw. Ihrer Ärztin.
Es liegen nur begrenzte Erfahrungen mit Tobrex Augentropfen bei Neugeborenen unter 2 Monaten vor.
Wenn vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, wird bei leichten bis mittelschweren Erkrankungen alle 4 Stunden 1-2 Tropfen in das erkrankte Auge getropft. Bei schweren Infektionen sollen stündlich 2 Tropfen eingetropft werden, bis eine Besserung eintritt.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung und die Behandlungsdauer. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Wenn Sie die Anwendung von Tobrex Augentropfen vergessen haben, tropfen Sie einen Tropfen ein, sobald Sie das Versäumnis bemerkt haben und setzen Sie die Behandlung danach planmässig fort. Tropfen Sie keine doppelte Dosis ein, um das Versäumte nachzuholen. Es ist wichtig, dass Tobrex Augentropfen regelmässig angewandt wird. Wenn Sie es aber trotzdem einmal oder öfters vergessen, setzen Sie die Behandlung wie verordnet fort, bis Sie mit Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin Rücksprache genommen haben.
Wenn Sie zusätzlich andere Augenarzneimittel verwenden, lassen Sie zwischen der Anwendung von Tobrex Augentropfen und anderen Arzneimitteln 5 bis 10 Minuten vergehen.
Falls Sie Nebenwirkungen feststellen, setzen Sie die Behandlung mit Tobrex Augentropfen nicht aus, ohne mit Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin zu sprechen. Ausser bei stark ausgeprägten Reaktionen können Sie die Behandlung fortsetzen. Wenn Sie besorgt sind, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Tobrex Augentropfen auftreten:
Auswirkungen auf das Auge: Missempfinden, Rötung.
Auswirkungen auf das Auge: Hornhautentzündung, Hornhautabrieb, Sehstörung, Augenausfluss, Verschwommensehen, trockenes Auge, Juckreiz, Fremdkörpergefühl, Schmerzen, erhöhte Tränensekretion; Lidrötung, Lidschwellung, Lidstörung, Bindehautschwellung, Bindehautstörungen.
Auswirkungen auf den Körper: Überempfindlichkeit (allergische Reaktion), Kopfschmerzen, Nesselfieber, Hautentzündung, Verlust von Wimpern, Hautjuckreiz, trockene Haut, Hautbleichung.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Um die Sterilität der Augentropfen nicht zu beeinträchtigen, Tropferspitze der Flasche weder mit dem Auge noch mit den Händen berühren. Flasche nach Gebrauch sofort gut verschliessen.
Nur bis zum Verfalldatum (Siehe Packung: «Verwendbar bis») anwenden. Inhalt nach Anbruch der Flasche nicht länger als 30 Tage verwenden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C), vor möglicher Lichteinwirkung geschützt und ausser Reichweite von Kindern.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilen Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
Bitte nach Beendigung der Behandlung jegliche Restflüssigkeit Ihrer Abgabestelle (Arzt/Ärztin oder Apotheker/Apothekerin) zur fachgerechten Entsorgung bringen.
