Aesculaforce forte ist ein Frischpflanzen-Präparat mit einem Extrakt aus frischen Rosskastaniensamen. Jede Tablette enthält 50 mg Aescin, ein natürlicher Wirkstoff der Rosskastanie, der die Spannkraft der Venenwände verbessert und so die Durchblutung fördert und ein Austreten von Flüssigkeit aus den Venen in das Gewebe verhindert. Aesculaforce forte ist deshalb angezeigt bei Beschwerden im Zusammenhang mit Krampfadern wie geschwollene Beine (Stauungs-Ödeme), Schmerzen und Schweregefühl in den Beinen sowie bei Wadenkrämpfen.
Zusätzlich zur medikamentösen Therapie sollten Sie für ausreichende Bewegung sorgen und langes Stehen vermeiden. Die Beine sollten wenn immer möglich hochgelagert und evtl. eingebunden werden.
Wenden Sie Aesculaforce forte nicht bei Kindern an oder bei einer bekannten Überempfindlichkeit gegen einen der Inhaltsstoffe (siehe Zusammensetzung). Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker bzw. Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Erwachsene nehmen täglich 2 Tabletten (morgens 1 Tablette und abends 1 Tablette) während den Mahlzeiten ein. Schlucken Sie die Tablette unzerkaut mit etwas Wasser oder einem anderen nicht alkoholischen Getränk. Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Aesculaforce forte auftreten: In seltenen Fällen können bei empfindlichen Personen leichte Magenbeschwerden auftreten. Durch die Einnahme der Tabletten mit den Hauptmahlzeiten können diese Störungen weitgehend vermieden werden. Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Aesculaforce forte bei Raumtemperatur (15 ? 25° C) lagern, den Behälter fest verschlossen halten und ausserhalb der Sicht- und Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Nicht aufgebrauchte oder verfallene Packungen sollen Sie Ihrem Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihrer Apothekerin oder Drogistin zur Entsorgung zurückbringen. Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
1 Filmtablette Aesculaforce forte enthält: 158?225 mg standardisierten Trockenextrakt aus frischen Rosskastaniensamen, (Droge-Extrakt-Verhältnis 4-6:1), entspr. 50 mg Aescin, Auszugsmittel Ethanol 68% (V/V). Dieses Präparat enthält zusätzlich Hilfsstoffe. Aesculaforce forte wird als längliche, gut schluckbare «ovale» Tablette hergestellt.
