Arkocaps Artischocke 200 mg Kapseln enthalten das Pulver der Blätter der Artischocke (Cynara scolymus). Diese Wurzel wird bei sehr niedriger Temperatur getrocknet und pulverisiert, um ein feines Pulver zu gewinnen, in dem alle Wirkstoffe der Pflanze enthalten sind. Dieses Arzneimittel wird traditionsgemäss bei Verdauungsstörungen, insbesondere bei Funktionsstörungen der Gallenwege verwendet.
Bei andauernden (länger als 2 Wochen) oder wiederkehrenden Verdauungsstörungen, sollte ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufgesucht werden um die Ursachen dafür abklären zu lassen.
Vergessen Sie nicht, dass bestimmte Genussmittel, Kaffee, Alkohol, Nikotin, sowie bestimmte Arzneimittel wie beispielweise Schmerz- und Rheuma Arzneimittel Magenschmerzen verursachen können.
Arkocaps Artischocke 200 mg darf nicht angewendet werden bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegen Artischocke oder gegen Pflanzen der Korbblütler-Familie, sowie bei Verschluss der Gallenwege.
Verdauungsbeschwerden bei Kinder unter 12 Jahren sollten ärztlich abgeklärt werden. Deshalb soll das Präparat in diesen Fällen ohne ärztlichen Rat nicht eingenommen werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen.
Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrung ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker oder den Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, die Apothekerin oder die Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Für die Erwachsenen beträgt die Dosis 2 Kapseln morgens, mittags und abends, während der Mahlzeiten, mit einem Glas Wasser.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
In seltenen Fällen können Magen-Darm Beschwerden beobachten werden, sowie allergische Hautreaktionen bei besonders empfindlichen Personen.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Den Behälter verschlossen halten und bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern.
Ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.

Arkocaps Artischocke 200 mg ist in Form von Kapseln erhältlich; 1 Kapsel enthält je 200 mg Pulver aus Artischockeblättern. Dieses Präparat enthält zusätzlich Hilfsstoffe. Die Kapselhülle enthält keine Gelatine.
