Betadine flüssige Seife ist ein Hautwaschmittel mit keimtötenden Eigenschaften. Sie tötet Bakterien, Pilze, Viren und andere infektionsauslösende Erreger ab.
Betadine flüssige Seife wird angewendet:
Ausschliesslich auf ärztliche Verschreibung wird Betadine flüssige Seife bei Hautpilzen angewendet.
In Spitälern und Arztpraxen wird Betadine flüssige Seife verwendet zur Händedesinfektion vor chirurgischen Eingriffen sowie zur Hautdesinfektion vor Operationen.
Betadine flüssige Seife darf nicht angewendet werden:
Nicht im Auge anwenden.
In folgenden Fällen darf Betadine flüssige Seife nur gemäss ärztlicher Verschreibung angewendet werden:
Betadine flüssige Seife sollte nicht über längere Zeit angewendet werden, ausser auf ausdrückliche ärztliche Verschreibung.
Eine gleichzeitige Anwendung von Betadine flüssige Seife und Präparaten, die Silbersulfadiazin, Wasserstoffperoxid, Taurolidin oder enzymatische Wundbehandlungsmittel enthalten, kann zu einer gegenseitigen Wirkungsabschwächung führen.
Betadine flüssige Seife nicht gleichzeitig oder kurzfristig nachfolgend mit Quecksilber enthaltenden Desinfektionsmitteln anwenden.
Betadine flüssige Seife nicht gleichzeitig mit oder unmittelbar nach der Anwendung von Octenidin enthaltenden Antiseptika auf denselben oder benachbarten Stellen anwenden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
In der Schwangerschaft und während der Stillzeit sollten Sie Betadine flüssige Seife nur auf ausdrückliche ärztliche Verschreibung anwenden.
Orientieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, falls Sie schwanger sind oder stillen.
Bei Kleinkindern ab 6 Monaten darf Betadine flüssige Seife nur gemäss ärztlicher Verschreibung angewendet werden.
Falls von Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin nicht anders angewiesen, wenden Sie Betadine flüssige Seife wie folgt an:
Haut gut anfeuchten. Etwas Betadine flüssige Seife auf die zu behandelnde Stelle geben und mit dem Finger oder einem sauberen Wattebausch aufschäumen.
Schaum 1?3 Minuten einwirken lassen.
Abspülen.
Mit sauberem Tuch oder Papier trockentupfen.
Bei Akne, Bibeli und Pilzinfektionen bis zu 3× täglich, bei fettiger, unreiner Haut mehrmals wöchentlich anwenden.
Haare gut anfeuchten und ca. 2 Teelöffel Betadine flüssige Seife darauf verteilen. Gut in die Haare und die Kopfhaut einmassieren bis ein dichter, gelblicher Schaum entsteht. Falls notwendig, zur besseren Schaumbildung noch etwas Wasser zugeben.
Haare gut spülen und Wasser ausdrücken.
Vorgang wiederholen und Schaum mindestens 5 Minuten einwirken lassen.
Haare gründlich spülen und wie nach einer normalen Haarwäsche trocknen.
Die Behandlung sollte 2× wöchentlich durchgeführt werden, bis eine Besserung eintritt. Danach genügt eine wöchentliche Anwendung.
Hände und Unterarme gut anfeuchten. 5 ml Betadine flüssige Seife in die hohle Hand geben und während 1 Minute sorgfältig in die Hände und Unterarme einreiben. Zur besseren Schaumbildung etwas Wasser beigeben.
Gut abspülen.
Abtrocknen.
Für Angaben zur chirurgischen Händedesinfektion sowie zur präoperativen Hautdesinfektion siehe Arzneimittel-Kompendium.
Bei versehentlicher Einnahme ist sofort der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin zu benachrichtigen.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Wenn Sie an Schilddrüsenstörungen leiden, können nach längerer Anwendung grösserer Mengen vereinzelt Reaktionen auftreten wie Schwitzen, Nervosität, Herzklopfen. Wenden Sie in diesem Fall Betadine flüssige Seife nicht mehr an und informieren Sie Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin.
Gelegentlich können Hautreizungen auftreten, selten Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen (z.B. Hautrötungen, Iodschnupfen, Bindehautentzündung), sehr selten mit Atemwegs- und Kreislaufsymptomen. In solchen Fällen ist die Behandlung abzubrechen und der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin zu informieren.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern.
Nicht einnehmen.
Betadine-Flecken können aus natürlichen Fasern mit Wasser und Seife, aus synthetischen Fasern mit verdünntem Salmiakgeist oder Natriumthiosulfat-Lösung ausgewaschen werden.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
