Buccalin enthält Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus haemolyticus und Staphylococcus aureus.
Buccalin ist ein inaktivierter Impfstoff welcher zur oralen, Prophylaxe von Erkältungskrankheiten angewendet wird.
Während akuter fieberhafter Erkrankungen wird von Impfungen abgeraten.
Bei Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem der Inhaltsstoffe und bei nachgewiesener Lactoseintoleranz darf Buccalin nicht angewendet werden.

Kinder unter 7 Jahren erhalten am ersten und am zweiten Tag je 1 Tablette, am dritten Tag 2 Tabletten.
Kinder über 7 Jahren und Erwachsene erhalten am ersten Tag 1 Tablette, am zweiten Tag 2 Tabletten und am dritten Tag 4 Tabletten.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können in seltene Fälle bei der Einnahme von Buccalin auftreten:
Übelkeit, Erbrechen, Abdominalschmerz, Durchfall, Fieber, Thrombopenie, Stomatitis, Dermatitis, makulopapuläres Exanthem und Gesichtsödem.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Das Medikament darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «Exp» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Das Präparat kann bei Raumtemperatur (bis 25 °C), vor Licht geschützt aufbewahrt werden.
