Condrosulf wird zur Behandlung von Gelenkerkrankungen verwendet. Es enthält als Wirkstoff Chondroitinsulfat, einen der Hauptbestandteile des Knorpels.
Nach der Behandlung mit Condrosulf konnte sowohl ein Rückgang der subjektiven Symptome als auch eine funktionelle Besserung der Arthrose festgestellt werden.
Condrosulf wird auf ärztliche Verordnung hin angewendet.
Condrosulf sollte bei Überempfindlichkeit gegen den Wirkstoff oder einen der Hilfsstoffe gemäss Zusammensetzung (siehe «Was ist in Condrosulf enthalten?») nicht angewendet werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker, bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Während der Schwangerschaft oder der Stillzeit sollte man auf die Einnahme von Arzneimitteln verzichten. Condrosulf soll nur unter ausdrücklicher ärztlicher Verordnung eingenommen werden.
Wenn vom Arzt oder der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, wird die folgende Dosierung empfohlen:
Anfangsbehandlung (während 2 Wochen): 2× täglich 2 Beutel resp. 2 Tabletten oder 2 Kapseln zu 400 mg, oder 2× täglich 1 Beutel resp. 1 Tablette zu 800 mg.
Erhaltungstherapie (während 2 bis 3 Monaten): 1× täglich 2 Beutel resp. 2 Tabletten oder 2 Kapseln zu 400 mg, oder 1× täglich 1 Beutel resp. 1 Tablette zu 800 mg.
Die Kapseln und Tabletten können vor, während oder nach den Mahlzeiten mit etwas Flüssigkeit, unzerkaut eingenommen werden. Bei Patienten mit empfindlichem Magen ist die Einnahme nach dem Essen vorzuziehen. Bei den Beuteln wird empfohlen, deren Inhalt zuerst in ein Glas zu geben und dann mit etwas Wasser aufzulösen.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Condrosulf bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker, bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Condrosulf auftreten:
Gelegentlich: Magen-Darm-Beschwerden (z.B. Verstopfung) oder leichte Übelkeit, die im allgemeinen keinen Abbruch der Behandlung erfordern. In seltenen Fällen wurde bei Patienten mit Nieren- und/oder Herzinsuffizienz Ödeme und/oder Wasserretention beobachtet.
Wenn eine Allergie in Form von Hautausschlag und Juckreiz auftritt, unterbrechen Sie die Behandlung und suchen Sie Ihren Arzt, bzw. Ihre Ärztin auf.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker, bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel ist bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren. Es darf nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.

Hilfsstoffe: saccharinum, aromatica, antiox. E 320 (Butylhydroxyanisolum), excipiens ad granulatum pro charta.
Wirkstoff: chondroitini sulfas natricus 400 mg.
Hilfsstoffe: excipiens pro compresso.
Wirkstoff: chondroitini sulfas natricus 400 mg.
Hilfsstoffe: color. E 104 (Chinolingelb), E 132 (Indigocarmin), excipiens pro capsula.
Beutel zu 3,6 g
Wirkstoff: chondroitini sulfas natricus 800 mg.
Hilfsstoffe: saccharinum, aromatica, antiox. E 320 (Butylhydroxyanisolum), excipiens ad granulatum pro charta.
Wirkstoff: chondroitini sulfas natricus 800 mg.
Hilfsstoffe: excipiens pro compresso.
Es muss berücksichtigt werden, dass der Energiegehalt eines Beutels Condrosulf zu 400 mg 4,3 kcal (18,0 kJ), und derjenige eines Beutels Condrosulf zu 800 mg 8,7 kcal (36,4 kJ) beträgt.
Der Wirkstoff von Condrosulf wird aus Fischknorpel gewonnen.
