Contusin-Gel ist ein aus natürlichen Bestandteilen (Wallwurz, Ringelblume, Arnika, Sonnenhut) bestehendes kühlendes Gel. Es wird verwendet bei stumpfen (unblutigen) Verletzungen, wie: Verstauchungen, Quetschungen, Prellungen und Zerrungen.
Contusin-Gel sollte bei Kleinkindern nicht angewendet werden.
Contusin-Gel darf nicht bei Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe angewendet werden (insbesondere Arnika-Allergie).
Nicht auf offene Wunden oder auf Schleimhäute auftragen!
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie
-an andern Krankheiten leiden,
-Allergien haben oder
-andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) äusserlich anwenden.
Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrung ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker oder den Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin oder die Apothekerin oder die Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Contusin-Gel wird bis 5 x täglich in dünner Schicht auf die zu behandelnde Körperpartie aufgetragen und nur leicht einmassiert. Die Anwendung ist täglich zu wiederholen, keinesfalls aber länger als 6 Wochen. Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Contusin-Gel auftreten: Hautjucken, Hautrötungen. Sollten Sie solche Hautreaktionen feststellen, informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin. Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Vor Kindern geschützt aufbewahren. Vor Wärme schützen.
1 ml Gel enthält:
0.3 ml Symphytum officinalis radices recentis tinctura ethanolicum (1:2,5), Auszugsmittel Ethanol 50% (m/m); 0.2 ml Calendulae officinalis herbae recentis tinctura ethanolicum (1:1,5-1,9), Auszugsmittel Ethanol 86% (m/ m); 0.1 ml Arnicae montanae radices tinctura ethanolicum (1:10), Auszugsmittel Ethanol 86%(m/m); 0.1 ml Echinacea purpurea herbae recentis tinctura ethanolicum (1:1,3-1,8), Auszugsmittel Ethanol 86% (m/ m). Es ist jeweils das Verhältnis Pflanze zu Extraktions-flüssigkeit angegeben.
Dieses Präparat enthält zusätzliche Hilfsstoffe.
