Diprogenta ist ein Kombinationspräparat, das 2 Wirkstoffe enthält. Der eine Wirkstoff von Diprogenta (Betamethasondipropionat) wirkt entzündungshemmend, antiallergisch und juckreizstillend. Zusätzlich enthält Diprogenta eine antibakterielle Substanz (Gentamicin), die das Wachstum von bakteriellen Erregern hemmt.
Diprogenta dient zur lokalen Behandlung von entzündlichen, allergischen und ekzematösen Hauterkrankungen, bei welchen eine zusätzliche Infektion beseitigt werden soll.
Diprogenta darf nur auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin angewendet werden.
Die Salbe eignet sich für Läsionen auf trockener Haut, die Creme auf fetter Haut sowie für nässende krankhafte Zustände.
Wenn Sie an einer Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber Betamethasondipropionat, Gentamicinsulfat oder einem andern Bestandteil des Präparates leiden, dürfen Sie Diprogenta nicht anwenden, ebenso wenn tuberkulöse und syphilitische Hauterkrankungen, Herpesinfektionen (z.B. Fieberbläschen), Windpocken (Varizellen) oder Impfreaktionen bestehen. Bei offenen Wunden und eitrigen Entzündungen sollte Diprogenta nicht angewendet werden. Der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin sollte unverzüglich informiert werden.
Diprogenta ist ein stark wirksames Arzneimittel. Überschreiten Sie nicht die vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin vorgeschriebene Behandlungsdauer, die bei Erwachsenen und Jugendlichen normalerweise maximal 2 bis 3 Wochen beträgt, da sich sonst Hautschäden einstellen können.
Sollten unerwarteterweise Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen auftreten, dann ist die Behandlung abzubrechen.
Wenn eine Hautkrankheit nicht innert einiger Tage auf die Behandlung anspricht oder sich gar verschlimmert, konsultieren Sie Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin; eine Allergie oder eine Infektion durch unempfindliche Keime könnte die Ursache sein. Teilen Sie ihm bzw. ihr ebenfalls mit, wenn Juckreiz und Rötung, Bläschen oder eine starke Verdünnung der Haut und Verletzungen auftreten.
Diprogenta Creme/Salbe soll nicht in oder in der Nähe der Augen angewendet werden.
Eine grossflächige Anwendung (mehr als 10% der Körperoberfläche) sowie eine Anwendung auf verstärkt resorbierenden Hautarealen [offene Wunden, geschädigte Haut, intertriginöse Bereiche (Hautfalten) in Gelenkbeugen sowie zwischen den Fingern bzw. Zehen, Haut/Schleimhautgrenzen, um die Augen herum] ist zu vermeiden.
Bei Kindern von 2-12 Jahren soll Diprogenta mit Vorsicht, nicht länger als 5-7 Tage und nicht grossflächig aufgetragen werden. Bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren ist die Anwendung nicht empfohlen.
Muss Diprogenta bei Kindern von 2-12 Jahren angewendet werden, sollte die Therapie vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin eng überwacht werden, da die Wirkstoffe über die Haut aufgenommen werden können und unerwünschte Wirkungen auslösen können. Dies gilt insbesondere bei Anwendung auf verstärkt resorbierenden Hautarealen wie Gesicht, am Hals, auf der Kopfhaut, im Genitalbereich, im Rektalbereich und in Hautfalten.
Bei der Behandlung mit Diprogenta Crème/Salbe im Genital- oder Analbereich kann es wegen der Hilfsstoffe weisses Vaselin und dickflüssiges Paraffin bei gleichzeitiger Anwendung von Kondomen aus Latex zu einer Verminderung der Reissfestigkeit und damit zur Beeinträchtigung der Sicherheit von Kondomen kommen.
Verwenden Sie Diprogenta nur für Ihr jetziges Hautleiden, für das der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin es Ihnen verschrieben hat, nicht aber für andere spätere Hautleiden. Geben Sie Diprogenta nicht an andere Personen weiter.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie
Wenn Sie schwanger sind, es werden möchten oder stillen, sollten Sie Diprogenta ausschliesslich nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt bzw. der Ärztin anwenden. Fragen Sie in jedem Fall Ihren Arzt oder den Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder die Apothekerin, und teilen Sie ihm bzw. ihr unbedingt mit, wenn Sie vor oder während der Behandlung schwanger werden.
Wenn vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, eine genügende Menge 2mal täglich auf die erkrankten Hautstellen auftragen und behutsam einreiben.
Bei Kindern von 2-12 Jahren eine dünne Menge nicht häufiger als zweimal täglich auftragen und mindestens 6-12 Stunden zwischen den Anwendungen verstreichen lassen.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Diprogenta auftreten: Reizungen der Haut, Brennen, Jucken, Trockenheit und Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen sowie Hautverfärbungen können auftreten. Es ist nicht bekannt, ob die Hautverfärbungen bleibend sind.
Nach längerer Anwendung kann es zu einer Verdünnung der behandelten Hautstellen, zu Erweiterungen kleiner oberflächlicher Blutgefässe und zur Bildung von blaurötlichen Streifen kommen.
Bei grossflächiger Anwendung, Okklusivverbänden oder Anwendung auf geschädigter Haut kann der Wirkstoff über die Haut aufgenommen werden und unerwünschte Wirkungen auslösen. Dazu gehören Störungen im Hormonhaushalt oder Auftreten einer bisher symptomlosen (latenten) Zuckerkrankheit (Diabetes).
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren!
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Diprogenta Creme/Salbe ist bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) aufzubewahren.

1 g Creme/Salbe enthält als Wirkstoff: 0,5 mg Betamethason (in Form von 0,64 mg Betamethasondipropionat), 1 mg Gentamicin (in Form von 1,7 mg Gentamicinsulfat) sowie Hilfsstoffe.
Diprogenta Creme enthält das Konservierungsmittel Chlorocresol.
