Etiaxil ist ein äusserlich anwendbares Medikament zur Behandlung der übermässigen Schweissabsonderung.
Sein Wirkstoff, das Aluminiumchlorid, wirkt der Übersekretion der Schweissdrüsen entgegen. Etiaxil wird bei übermässig starker Schweissabsonderung eingesetzt, insbesondere in den Achselhöhlen sowie an Händen und Füssen.
Etiaxil besitzt eine lange Wirkungsdauer. Bei nur 2 Applikationen pro Woche, wird ein Schutz während 7 Tagen gewährt.
Etiaxil ist nicht parfümiert. Es beeinträchtigt die Verwendung Ihres üblichen Parfums nicht.
Kontakt mit Augen und Textilien ist zu vermeiden.
Den Kugel Applikator gut verschlossen aufbewahren.
Falls die Kugel des Applikators verstopft ist, mit Wasser abwaschen und sorgfältig trocknen.
Bei Kindern nicht verwenden.
Während eines Schweissausbruches und bei Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen gegen einen der Inhaltsstoffe nicht verwenden.
Die Anwendungsvorschriften genau beachten.
Bei empfindlichen Personen kann Etiaxil eine Unverträglichkeitsreaktion hervorrufen. Dieses Risiko ist sehr gering, wenn die Anwendungsvorschriften und folgende Empfehlungen gut beachtet werden. Auf feuchter oder gereizter Haut nicht auftragen. Die zu behandelnden Stellen müssen völlig sauber sein und dürfen keinerlei Reizungen (Mykosen, Verletzungen oder Anzeichen von Hautkrankheiten) aufweisen. Falls derartige Reizungen bestehen, müssen zuerst diese behandelt werden, bevor mit der Anwendung des Produkts begonnen wird. Falls bei den ersten Anwendungen leichte Reizungen auftreten, Achselhöhlen (oder andere betroffene Körperteile) innerhalb der ersten Stunde mit Wasser waschen, Juckreiz durch Anwendung einer reizmildernden Hautcreme oder -milch lindern und das Präparat erst am folgenden Abend wieder einsetzen. Falls die Reizung nicht abklingt, sollte das Präparat nicht mehr verwendet werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an andern Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden (bei Externa)!
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt.
Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt oder den Apotheker bzw. die Ärztin oder die Apothekerin um Rat fragen.
Die zu behandelnde Stelle gut trocknen, falls nötig einen Fön benutzen.
Den Etiaxil-Kugelapplikator zu 12,5 ml verwenden.
Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, Etiaxil vor dem Schlafengehen auf die sorgfältig getrockneten und nicht gereizten Achselhöhlen jeweils an zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen pro Woche auftragen.
Mindestens 48 Stunden vor der Anwendung nicht rasieren.
Die Etiaxil-Flasche zu 100 ml verwenden.
Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, zweimal wöchentlich abends oder mehr mit Watte Etiaxil-Lösung auftragen, da die Hautschicht an diesen Körperstellen dicker ist.
Nach der Anwendung an der Luft trocknen lassen. Alles vermeiden, was die Schweisssekretion während der folgenden Stunden begünstigen könnte. Am nächsten Morgen sich mit Wasser und Seife waschen. Selbst eine Dusche oder ein Bad eine Stunde nach der Anwendung reduziert dessen Wirksamkeit nicht.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder von Ihrem Arzt verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, dass das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei Anwendung von Etiaxil auftreten:
bei besonders empfindlichen Personen kann bei den ersten Anwendungen eine Unverträglichkeit auftreten, die sich durch eine leichte Reizung äussert.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Den Kugel-Applikator gut verschlossen bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
Etiaxil darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «Exp.» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
