Fusicutan Salbe ist ein Antibiotikum und wird auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin zur Bekämpfung und Vorbeugung bakterieller Infektionen der Haut eingesetzt.
Fusicutan Salbe wird bei Hautinfektionen und Verbrennungen eingesetzt.
Bei einer bestehenden Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber dem Wirkstoff Fusidinsäure, oder gegenüber Wollwachs dürfen Sie Fusicutan Salbe nicht benützen.
Wenn eine Hautkrankheit nicht innert einiger Tage auf die Behandlung anspricht, konsultieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin; eine Allergie oder eine Infektion durch unempfindliche Keime könnten die Ursache sein.
Bei der Anwendung im Gesicht sollte der Kontakt mit den Augen vermieden werden.
Fusicutan Salbe enthält Cetylalkohol und Wollwachs, welche lokale Hautreaktionen (z.B. Kontaktdermatitis) auslösen können.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Verwenden Sie Fusicutan Salbe, wenn Sie schwanger sind, es werden möchten oder stillen, nur nach Absprache mit dem Arzt oder der Ärztin.
Wird Fusicutan Salbe vom Arzt oder der Ärztin während der Stillzeit verordnet, so soll das Präparat nicht auf die Brust aufgetragen werden.
Fusicutan Salbe wird für Erwachsene, Jugendliche und Kinder ab 2 Jahren, wenn von Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, täglich als Salbenverband auf die infizierte Hautpartie aufgetragen. Falls ein Verband schlecht möglich ist, 2?3× täglich auftragen.
Eine 7-tägige Behandlung wird in den meisten Fällen ausreichen.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Fusicutan Salbe auftreten:
Gelegentlich (bei weniger als 1 von 100 Personen) wurden Entzündungen der Haut (inkl. Ekzem), Hautausschlag (kann mit Pusteln, Bläschen und Rötung einhergehen), Juckreiz, Hautrötung, Schmerzen (inkl. Gefühl des Hautbrennens) oder Reizung an der Anwendungsstelle beobachtet.
In seltenen Fällen (bei weniger als 1 von 1000 Personen) treten Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen, Bindehautentzündung, Angioödem (plötzlich auftretende, schmerzlose Schwellung von Haut und Schleimhaut), Nesselsucht, oder Blasenbildung auf.
Beim Auftreten von Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen, insbesondere wenn diese mit einer Schwellung von Haut und Schleimhäuten einhergehen, sowie beim Auftreten von Nesselsucht und Blasenbildung, informieren Sie umgehend Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahren.
Fusicutan Salbe nicht über 30 °C lagern.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Die Dauer der Haltbarkeit nach Anbruch beträgt 6 Monate.
Verfallene Arzneimittel sollten zur Entsorgung in die Apotheke gebracht werden.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
1 g Salbe enthält als Wirkstoff 20,3 mg Fusidinsäure 0,5 H2O (entsprechend 20,0 mg Fusidinsäure wasserfrei), Wollwachs und weitere Hilfsstoffe.
