GeloDurat enthält 300 mg Destillat von ätherischen Ölen verschiedener Pflanzen und wird bei akuter und chronischer Bronchitis sowie bei Entzündungen der Nasennebenhöhlen (akute und chronische Sinusitis) angewendet.
GeloDurat verflüssigt den Schleim in den Bronchien und den Nasennebenhöhlen, fördert den Abtransport dieses Schleims und erleichtert das Abhusten.
GeloDurat reduziert die bei chronischen Verläufen häufigen Krankheitsverschlimmerungen.
Unterstützen Sie die schleimlösende Wirkung von GeloDurat, indem Sie viel trinken.
GeloDurat darf bei Überempfindlichkeit gegen einen der Bestandteile des Arzneimittels nicht eingenommen werden.
Nicht anwenden bei Kleinkindern unter 4 Jahren.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte!) einnehmen.
Aufgrund tierexperimenteller Untersuchungsergebnisse und der langjährigen therapeutischen Erfahrung am Menschen ist nach dem wissenschaftlichen Stand der Erkenntnis davon auszugehen, dass GeloDurat auch in der Schwangerschaft nach Rücksprache mit dem behandelnden Arzt bzw. der Ärztin ohne Risiko eingenommen werden kann.
Der Übertritt von GeloDurat in die Muttermilch wird als sehr wahrscheinlich angesehen. Deshalb soll GeloDurat in der Stillzeit nur nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt bzw. der Ärztin angewendet werden.
Bei akuten, entzündlichen Krankheitsbildern nehmen Erwachsene 3?4 mal täglich eine Kapsel ein, Kinder ab 10 Jahren nehmen 1?3 mal täglich 1 Kapsel ein. Bei chronischen Krankheitsbildern 2 mal täglich eine Kapsel einnehmen. Diese Dosierung wird auch zur Dauerbehandlung empfohlen.
GeloDurat-Kapseln sollen eine halbe Stunde vor dem Essen unzerkaut mit reichlich kalter Flüssigkeit eingenommen werden.
Bei Kindern unter 10 Jahren nur auf ärztliche Verschreibung anwenden. Nicht anwenden bei Kleinkindern unter 4 Jahren.
Um bei chronischer Bronchitis das Abhusten am Morgen zu erleichtern, können Sie abends vor dem Schlafengehen zusätzlich eine Kapsel GeloDurat einnehmen.
Zur Erleichterung der Nachtruhe kann die letzte Dosis vor dem Schlafengehen eingenommen werden.
Bei Atemwegserkrankungen, die länger als 7 Tage anhalten, muss ein Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. eine Ärztin oder Apothekerin beigezogen werden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von GeloDurat auftreten:
GeloDurat kann Beschwerden im Magen-Darm-Bereich wie Magen- oder Bauchschmerzen, Erbrechen, Brechreiz, Durchfall und Blähungen hervorrufen. Bei vorhandenen Nieren- und Gallensteinen können diese in Bewegung gesetzt werden.
In Einzelfällen wurde über das Auftreten von Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen (z.B. Hautausschlag, Gesichtsschwellung, Atemnot oder Kreislaufstörungen) berichtet.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
GeloDurat nicht über 25 °C lagern. In der Originalverpackung und im Umkarton aufbewahren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
