GEM Bronchialpastillen zuckerfrei, mit Sorbit enthalten einen Extrakt aus Senegawurzel, diverse ätherische Öle sowie Benzoesäure, Menthol und Süssholzsaft (Lakritze) als Wirkstoff. Durch den Gehalt an ätherischen Ölen und pflanzlichen Extrakten entfalten die GEM Bronchialpastillen zuckerfrei, mit Sorbit eine leicht desinfizierende Wirkung auf die Schleimhäute der Atemwege, wirken schleimlösend und erleichtern so den Auswurf. Die GEM Bronchialpastillen zuckerfrei, mit Sorbit werden deshalb angewendet bei Erkältungshusten mit Heiserkeit und Rachenkatarrh, insbesondere bei übermässiger Bildung von zähem Schleim.
Bei Husten, der länger als 7 Tage anhält, ist ein Arzt oder eine Ärztin zu befragen.
GEM Bronchialpastillen zuckerfrei, mit Sorbit dürfen nicht angewendet werden bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem der Inhaltsstoffe sowie bei Kleinkindern.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin wenn Sie
-an anderen Krankheiten leiden
-Allergien haben oder
-andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen.
Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Falls nicht anders verschrieben:
Erwachsene: alle zwei Stunden 1-2 Pastillen langsam im Mund zergehen lassen, maximal 10 Pastillen täglich.
Kinder ab 2 Jahren: 2-4 Pastillen täglich.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von GEM Bronchialpastillen zuckerfrei, mit Sorbit auftreten:
Gelegentlich sind Magenbeschwerden beobachtet worden.
Insbesondere bei höherer als der empfohlenen Dosierung können mineralcorticoide Effekte (Natrium-, Wasserretention, Kaliumverlust) aufgrund des Gehaltes an Süssholzextrakt eintreten. Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Bei Raumtempe-ratur (15-25 °C) lagern.

Eine Pastille enthält: 1.9 mg Anisöl, 0.75 mg Eukalyptusöl, 7.0 mg Senegawurzel-Trockenextrakt DEV 2-4:1 Auszugsmittel Ethanol 30% (m/m), 2.0 mg Menthol, 98 mg Süssholzsaft, 0.7 mg Benzoesäure, Gummi arabicum, Wasser, Sorbitol und Natriumcyclamat.
