Wir organisieren mit einer unserer Partner-Apotheken eine Sendung Ihres Glaupax® (250 mg)'s gegen Unterschrift (24h)
oder dem Medikamenten-Taxi nach einer Online Sprechstunde, falls gewünscht.
Glaupax dient zur Behandlung des erhöhten Augeninnendrucks. Glaupax greift in den Stoffwechsel flüssigkeitsabsondernder Gewebe ein. Es führt zu einer vermehrten Wasserauscheidung (Diurese), aber auch die Produktion von Kammerwasser wird vermindert, dadurch erniedrigt sich der Augeninnendruck bei Patienten mit grünem Star (Glaukom).
Glaupax darf nur auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin angewendet werden.
Bei bekannter oder vermuteter Überempfindlichkeit (Allergie) auf einen Inhaltsstoff von Glaupax, sowie auf Sulfonamide.
Bei schweren Leber- oder Nierenschäden oder bei Bluterkrankungen.
Bei Störungen des (Mineral-)Salzhaushaltes des Körpers.
Bei Nebennierenrinden-Insuffizienz.
Wenn Sie Glaupax anwenden, sollte Ihr Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin regelmässig Ihr Blut untersuchen lassen.
Falls während der Behandlung mit Glaupax anhaltende Halsschmerzen, Fieber, Müdigkeit, Nasenbluten, oft und leicht vorkommende blaue Flecken oder sehr blasse oder gelbe Haut auftreten, suchen Sie unverzüglich den Arzt bzw. die Ärztin auf.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, insbesondere Lungenerkrankungen mit eingeschränkter Atmung, oder an Diabetes, wenn bei Ihnen oder in Ihrer Familie bereits Blutbildstörungen im Zusammenhang mit Arzneimitteln aufgetreten sind, wenn Sie Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder am Auge anwenden!
Anwendung während Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit nur mit ausdrücklicher Genehmigung Ihres Arztes bzw. Ihrer Ärztin.
Erwachsene: Üblicherweise werden ½ bis 1 Tablette 1 bis 2 mal täglich eingenommen.
Die Tabletten haben eine Kreuzbruchkerbe auf einer Seite. Die Tablette kann in zwei gleiche Teile geteilt werden.
Bei akutem Glaukom kann Ihnen der Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin eine kurzfristig erhöhte Dosierung vorschreiben. Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Glaupax Tabletten bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Glaupax auftreten:
In seltenen Fällen Magen-Darm-Störungen (Erbrechen), Schwindel, Juckreiz, aber auch Blutbildstörungen.
Bei Kurzzeit-Therapien wurde kribbelndes Gefühl in Armen und Beinen, Appetitverlust, vermehrter Harndrang, sowie vereinzelt Verwirrtheit und Benommenheit beobachtet.
Die meisten Nebenwirkungen verschwinden nach einigen Tagen, ohne dass die Therapie abgebrochen werden muss. Es wurde über eine vorübergehende Kurzsichtigkeit berichtet. Andere gelegentlich auftretende Nebenwirkungen sind Nesselsucht, Blut und Zucker im Urin, Blut im Stuhl, schlaffe Lähmung und Muskelzuckungen. Vor allem bei älteren Patienten bzw. Patientinnen können trockene Augen auftreten. Kristalle im Urin, Nierensteine und Hautausschläge können auftreten.
Informieren Sie unverzüglich Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin, falls Hautausschläge, anhaltende Halsschmerzen, Fieber, Müdigkeit, Nasenbluten, oft und leicht vorkommende blaue Flecken oder sehr blasse oder gelbe Haut auftreten.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker, bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
In der verschlossenen Originalpackung bei Raumtemperatur (15°-25 °C) und ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
Nach Beendigung der Behandlung evtl. übriggebliebene Tabletten Ihrer Abgabestelle (Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ärztin oder Apothekerin) zum fachgerechten Entsorgen bringen.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilen Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
