+-Was ist H.E.C. und wann wird es angewendet?

H.E.C ist eine Nasensalbe die nach Nasenbluten oder chirurgischen Eingriffen an der Nasenschleimhaut verwendet wird. Durch seine Wirkstoffe fördert H.E.C. die Heilung der Nasenschleimhaut, befeuchtet die Nase und verhindert das schmerzhafte Abreissen von Schorfen. Die Anwendung von H.E.C. wird auch nach Schnupfen empfohlen.

+-Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?

Häufiges Nasenbluten kann auch durch Krankheiten des Blutes oder durch erhöhten Blutdruck verursacht werden. Deshalb wird bei wiederholtem Auftreten eine ärztliche Kontrolle empfohlen.

+-Wann darf H.E.C. nicht angewendet werden?

Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegen einen der Bestandteile soll H.E.C. nicht angewendet werden (z.B. Allergie auf Perubalsam oder Wollfett).

+-Wann ist bei der Einnahme/Anwendung von H.E.C. Vorsicht geboten?

Es sind keine Wechselwirkungen mit anderen Behandlungen bekannt. Informieren Sie dennoch Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.

+-Darf H.E.C. während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit eingenommen/angewendet werden?

Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie H.E.C. in der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit nur nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit der Ärztin oder Apothekerin verwenden.

+-Wie verwenden Sie H.E.C.?

H.E.C. soll entweder mehrmals täglich direkt auf die Nasenschleimhaut aufgetragen, oder mittels einer Kompresse in der Nase festgehalten werden. Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung.

Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.

+-Welche Nebenwirkungen kann H.E.C. haben?

Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von H.E.C. auftreten:

In seltenen Fällen kann eine allergische Reaktion gegen einen der Bestandteile der Nasensalbe auftreten. In solchen Fällen soll die Behandlung abgebrochen und ein Arzt oder eine Ärztin zu Rate gezogen werden.

Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.

+-Was ist ferner zu beachten?

Arzneimittel ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren!

Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «Exp.» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern. Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.

Wirkstoffe: Tannin 1 g, Pectin 400 mg, Hamamelisliquidextrakt 50 mg, Perubalsam 100 mg.
