Imacort bekämpft Ekzeme und Entzündungen der Haut und beseitigt gleichzeitig die häufigsten auf der geschädigten Haut vorkommenden Bakterien und Pilze. Die Crèmegrundlage ist eine nur leicht fettende Emulsion, die der entzündeten Haut angepasst ist und zusätzlich dazu beiträgt, den Hautzustand zu verbessern.
Imacort wird auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin angewendet bei infizierten oder infektionsgefährdeten Ekzemen, entzündlichen Pilzerkrankungen der Haut, speziell der Zehenzwischenräume und bei oberflächlichen bakteriellen Infektionen.
Bei Hauterkrankungen, die durch Viren oder die Erreger der Tuberkulose oder der Syphilis hervorgerufen werden. Bei einer bekannten Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe. Imacort darf auf der Glans Penis (Eichel) nicht angewendet werden.
Imacort ist ein stark wirksames Arzneimittel; überschreiten Sie nicht die vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin vorgeschriebene Behandlungsdauer, die normalerweise 2 bis 3 Wochen beträgt, da sich sonst Hautschäden einstellen können.
Wenn eine Hautkrankheit nicht innert einiger Tage auf die Behandlung anspricht oder sich gar verschlimmert, konsultieren Sie Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin. Teilen Sie ihm bzw. ihr ebenfalls mit, wenn Juckreiz und Rötung, Bläschen oder eine starke Verdünnung der Haut und Verletzungen auftreten.
Eine grossflächige Anwendung (mehr als 10% der Körperoberfläche) sowie das Auftragen in Augennähe ist zu vermeiden. In Hautfalten (Achselhöhle, Leistengegend, Gelenkbeugen, Zehenzwischenräume) vorsichtig und möglichst kurz anwenden.
Nicht auf offene Wunden auftragen.
Imacort soll nicht mit den Augen in Kontakt kommen.
Verwenden Sie das Präparat nur für Ihr jetziges Hautleiden, nicht aber für andere, spätere Hautkrankheiten. Geben Sie das Präparat nicht an andere Personen weiter.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Wenn Sie schwanger sind, es werden möchten oder stillen, sollten Sie Imacort ausschliesslich nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt bzw. der Ärztin anwenden.
Falls vom Arzt bzw. der Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, wird das Präparat zweimal täglich nach dem Waschen und gründlichem Abtrocknen in den üblichen Mengen auf die betroffene Hautregion aufgetragen. Nach etwa einer Woche Behandlungsdauer kann meistens auf ein einfaches, kortikoidfreies Arzneimittel gegen Pilze übergegangen werden.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Imacort Créme bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Imacort auftreten:
Lokale unerwünschte Wirkungen wie Reizungen der Haut, Brennen, Jucken und Trockenheit sowie Unverträglichkeitsreaktionen der Haut aufgrund von Allergien auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe von Imacort (Brennen, Juckreiz) können nicht ausgeschlossen werden. In diesen Fällen sollte Imacort nicht mehr angewendet und der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin informiert werden.
Nach längerer Anwendung kann es zu einer Verdünnung der behandelten Hautstellen, zu Erweiterungen kleiner oberflächlicher Blutgefässe und zur Bildung von blau-rötlichen Streifen kommen.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP.» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) lagern. Für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahren.
