Imazol Crème ist ein Präparat, das Pilze und gewisse Bakterien, welche die Haut befallen, vernichtet. Imazol Crème wird bei Pilzerkrankungen und bakteriellen Infektionen der menschlichen Haut, z.B. bei Fusspilzen, Pilzen in der Leistengegend und den äusseren Geschlechtsteilen angewendet. Imazol Crème darf nur auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin angewendet werden.
Bei einer bekannten Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe oder bei Überempfindlichkeit auf andere Arzneimittel der gleichen Stoffklasse (Imidazolderivate). Imazol Crème darf nicht im Bereich der Augen angewendet werden. Imazol Crème darf auf der Glans Penis (Eichel) nicht angewendet werden. Die Wirksamkeit und Sicherheit von Imazol Crème wurde bei Kindern nicht untersucht. Die Anwendung der Imazol Crème wird daher bei Kindern unter 6 Jahren nicht empfohlen.
Bei ausgedehntem Pilzbefall oder Mitbefall der Nägel ist ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufzusuchen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Wenn Sie schwanger sind, es werden möchten oder stillen, darf Imazol Crème nicht angewendet werden, ausser auf ausdrückliche ärztliche Verschreibung.
Je nach Empfehlung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin wird Imazol Crème zweimal täglich (morgens und abends) nach dem Waschen und gründlichen Abtrocknen in dünner Schicht auf die erkrankten Hautbezirke aufgetragen und leicht eingerieben. Die benötigte Menge ist abhängig von der Grösse der zu behandelnden Fläche. In den meisten Fällen genügt ein ca. ½ cm langer Strang für einen Bereich von der Grösse einer Handfläche.
Wichtig für eine erfolgreiche Behandlung ist die zuverlässige und ausreichend lange Anwendung. Der bei diesen Infektionen häufig auftretende Juckreiz verschwindet oft nach wenigen Tagen. Die Behandlungsdauer muss jedoch trotzdem je nach Art des Erregers, Ausmass und Lokalisation der Erkrankung 2 bis 6 Wochen betragen und wird vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin festgelegt. Eine ungenügende Anwendungsdauer oder ein zu frühes Beenden der Behandlung, auch wenn die Symptome bereits abgeklungen sind, kann ein erneutes Aufflammen der Erkrankung zur Folge haben.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Imazol Crème auftreten:
Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen und Reizungen durch einen der Inhaltsstoffe von Imazol Crème sind selten. Sie können sich als Brennen, Rötungen, Schwellungen, Bläschen, Knötchen oder Juckreiz zeigen.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP.» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahren.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
