inhalant ist ein Inhalations- oder Einreibemittel, welches bei Erkältungen, Schnupfen und Husten verwendet wird. Es schafft nach der Inhalation oder Einreibung mit jedem Atemzug spürbare Linderung, löst den Schleim, beruhigt und beschleunigt den Heilungsprozess. inhalant enthält eine Kombination von Wirkstoffen, insbesondere Bestandteile natürlicher ätherischer Öle (Menthol, Kampfer, Thymol, Niaouli-Öl, Fichtennadelöl, Cineol). Beim Einatmen mit Wärme und Dampf sind diese Stoffe wirkungsvoll.
??inhalant darf nicht angewendet werden bei: Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe, Bronchialasthma, Keuchhusten und auch nicht bei Säuglingen. inhalant darf auf keinen Fall eingenommen werden und mit Schleimhäuten (Nase, Auge, Mund) direkt in Kontakt kommen.
?Bei äusserer Anwendung: Nicht auf offenen Wunden und ekzematöser Haut anwenden.
?Grundsätzlich nicht anwenden bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren.
?Bei Kindern unter 6 Jahren mit Vorsicht anwenden. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie
??an anderen Krankheiten leiden,
??Allergien haben oder
??andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) äusserlich anwenden.
Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Erwachsene und Kinder ab 6 Jahren:
?Für die Inhalation: Ca. 20 Tropfen inhalant in den mit heissem Wasser (ca. 60°C) halbgefüllten «Nicolay-Inhalator» geben. Den Inhalator zuerst in grösserem Abstand, ca. 40 cm, aufstellen und allmählich näherrücken.
?Zum Einreiben: 2 bis 3-mal täglich auf Brust und Rücken je 5?10 Tropfen einreiben. Nach Anwendung Hände gut waschen.
?Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung.
?Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von inhalant auftreten:
bei empfindlichen Personen leichte Reizungen der Atemwege wie verstärkte Produktion von Nasenwasser oder Hustenreiz. Beim Einreiben von inhalant können leichte Hautrötungen, allergische Reaktionen oder ähnliche Reaktionen auftreten, die jedoch nach Beendigung der Therapie wieder verschwinden.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Bewahren Sie das Arzneimittel ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern, bei Zimmertemperatur und vor Licht geschützt auf.
Das Medikament darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
