Mycoster Crème ist ein Antimykotikum (ein Wirkstoff, der Pilze zerstört) zur lokalen Anwendung. Der aktive Wirkstoff ist Ciclopiroxolamin.
Mycoster Crème ist bestimmt für die Behandlung von:
Mykosen (eine Erkrankung, die durch Pilze verursacht ist) der Haut mit oder ohne zusätzlichen Befall von Bakterien;
leichter bis mittelschwerer entzündlicher und seborrhoischer Dermatitis des Gesichts (Röte oder Schuppenbildung im Gesicht).
Mycoster Crème darf nur auf Verschreibung des Arztes oder der Ärztin verwendet werden.
Verwenden Sie Mycoster Crème nicht, falls Sie auf den Wirkstoff Ciclopiroxolamin oder auf einen der anderen Stoffe, die in Mycoster Crème enthalten sind, allergisch sind.
Mycoster Crème darf nicht im Bereich der Augen angewendet werden.
Mycoster Crème enthält Stearylalkohol und Cetylalkohol, welche lokale Reaktionen auf der Haut auslösen können (zum Beispiel Ekzem).
Es sind keine Wechselwirkungen mit anderen Arzneimitteln bekannt.
Wenn Sie unter einer Hefepilzinfektion (Candidosis) leiden, wird davon abgeraten, eine Seife mit einem sauren pH zu benutzen.
Mycoster Crème hat keine Auswirkung auf die Fahrtüchtigkeit oder das Bedienen von Maschinen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Es wird empfohlen, das Arzneimittel nicht bei Schwangeren und nicht bei stillenden Frauen anzuwenden.
Fragen Sie vor der Anwendung von allen Arzneimitteln Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin um Rat.
Das Arzneimittel ist nur zur äusserlichen Anwendung auf der Haut bestimmt. Der zu behandelnde Bereich muss sauber und trocken sein. Waschen Sie sich vor und nach jeder Anwendung sorgfältig die Hände.
Geben Sie Mycoster Crème auf die zu behandelnden Hautflächen und massieren Sie die Salbe leicht ein, bis sie eingezogen ist.
Die empfohlene Dosierung beträgt 2 Anwendungen pro Tag für die Dauer von durchschnittlich 21 Tagen.
Bei Behandlungsbeginn wird eine Dosierung von 2 Anwendungen pro Tag für die Dauer von 2 bis 4 Wochen empfohlen;
darüber hinaus wird zur Erhaltungstherapie empfohlen, Mycoster Crème einmal täglich für die Dauer von 28 Tagen anzuwenden.
Falls Sie sich nicht sicher sind, wie Sie mit der Behandlung fortfahren sollen, kontaktieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Verwenden Sie nicht die doppelte Menge Crème und auch nicht die gleiche Menge zweimal direkt nacheinander, um die weggelassene Anwendung nachzuholen. Fahren Sie mit der Behandlung so fort, wie Sie es gewohnt sind.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Mycoster bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Zu den häufigen Nebenwirkungen, welche bereits bei der ersten Anwendung auftreten können, zählen vorübergehende Verschlimmerung am Ort der Anwendung (Gefühl des Brennens, Rötung, Juckreiz). Diese Symptome sind im Allgemeinen vorübergehender Natur, brechen Sie die Behandlung deshalb nicht ab.
Zu den gelegentlichen Nebenwirkungen zählen lokale Reaktionen wie Bläschen und allgemeine allergische Reaktionen. Falls diese Nebenwirkungen auftreten, sollten Sie die Behandlung sofort abbrechen und möglichst schnell einen Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin kontaktieren.

Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Das Verfallsdatum bezieht sich auf den letzten Tag des angegebenen Monats.
Die Tube muss sorgfältig verschlossen und in der Originalverpackung bei 15?30 °C aufbewahrt werden.
Haltbarkeit nach Anbruch: 3 Monate.
