Nach zahnärztlichen oder chirurgischen Eingriffen kann neo-angin auf ärztliche Verordnung hin ebenfalls eingenommen werden.
Bei Patienten mit einer bekannten Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe oder gegen andere örtliche Betäubungsmittel (Lokalanästhetika).
Bei Patienten, die auf Azofarbstoffe, Acetylsalicylsäure sowie Rheuma- und Schmerzmittel (Prostaglandinhemmer) überempfindlich reagieren.
Bei blutenden Wunden in der Schleimhaut soll die Halspastille - wenn überhaupt - mit Vorsicht eingenommen werden, da die Aufnahme der Wirkstoffe ins Blut erhöht sein kann. Dies gilt insbesondere bei Patienten mit Herz-Kreislauf-Störungen oder Krampfneigung.
Bei eingeschränkter Leber- und/oder Nierenfunktion, da diese Einschränkungen zu erhöhten Wirkstoffkonzentrationen im Blut führen können.
Bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren wird neo-angin forte nicht empfohlen.
Bei Kindern unter 6 Jahren werden neo-angin und neo-angin Junior nicht empfohlen.
Bei höherem Fieber oder wenn innerhalb von 3 Tagen keine Besserung eintritt, ist ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufzusuchen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, den Apotheker oder den Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, die Apothekerin oder die Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Kinder ab 6 Jahre alle 1 bis 2 Stunden eine Halspastille langsam im Mund zergehen lassen.
Erwachsene und Kinder ab 6 Jahren alle 1 bis 2 Stunden eine Halspastille langsam im Munde zergehen lassen.
Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren alle 1 bis 3 Stunden eine Halspastille langsam im Munde zergehen lassen. Eine Tagesdosis von 12 Tabletten darf nicht überschritten werden.
Die Halspastillen sind für Diabetiker geeignet.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von neo-angin auftreten:
Ein übermässiger oder längerer Gebrauch von neo-angin kann lokale Reizerscheinungen hervorrufen. Im Falle von frischen Verletzungen im Munde besteht die Gefahr von Blutungen.
Sehr selten kann es zu Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen oder Sensibilisierungen im Mundbereich kommen.
Selten kann es zu einer Veränderung der Geschmackswahrnehmung oder zu einem Taubheitsgefühl der Zunge kommen. Diese Effekte bilden sich in der Regel kurzfrisitg zurück.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) und ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.
