oder dem Medikamenten-Taxi nach einer Online Sprechstunde, falls gewünscht.
Oculac SDU wird als Tränenersatzflüssigkeit verwendet. Das Präparat eignet sich zur Befeuchtung der Augen. Auf Empfehlung des Apothekers oder auf ärztliche Verordnung wird Oculac SDU auch beim «trockenen Auge» verschiedener Ursachen eingesetzt.
Oculac SDU ist eine wässrige Lösung; sie enthält Povidonum K 25 und die Elektrolyten Magnesium, Kalium, Calcium und Natrium und ist damit der natürlichen Tränenflüssigkeit vergleichbar.
Nach dem Eintropfen verteilt sich Oculac SDU schnell auf dem Auge und bildet einen schützenden Film.
Oculac SDU enthält kein Konservierungsmittel und ist daher auch zum Benetzen von harten und weichen Kontaktlinsen während des Tragens geeignet.
Oculac SDU kann zur Benetzung von harten und weichen (hydrophilen) Kontaktlinsen während des Tragens angewendet werden.
Bei bekannter oder vermuteter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe darf Oculac SDU nicht angewendet werden.
Wenn die Reizung des trockenen Auges bestehen bleibt oder sich verschlechtert, sollten Sie die Behandlung abbrechen und Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin aufsuchen.
Falls Sie Oculac SDU gleichzeitig mit anderen Augenpräparaten verwenden müssen, sollten Sie dies mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten besprechen um einen geeigneten Zeitplan für die Verwendung der Arzneimittel festzulegen.
Bei gleichzeitiger Verwendung anderer lokal am Auge aufgetragener Arzneimittel sollte zwischen den Applikationen ein Zeitintervall von 5-10 Minuten eingehalten werden. Oculac SDU sollte immer als letztes Präparat eingetropft werden.
Falls Sie unmittelbar nach dem Eintropfen von Oculac SDU eine verschwommene Sicht feststellen, sollten Sie das Führen eines Motorfahrzeuges oder das Bedienen von Maschinen unterlassen und warten, bis die Sicht wieder klar ist.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin wenn Sie an Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder am Auge verwenden.
Anwendung während Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Bei Bedarf 1 Tropfen Oculac SDU in den Bindehautsack des/der betroffenen Auges/n geben. Auf Empfehlung des Apothekers oder Apothekerin, bzw. auf ärztliche Verordnung wird bei der Behandlung des «trockenen Auges» verschiedener Ursachen normalerweise 4× täglich 1 Tropfen angewendet.
Kontaktlinsenträger: Zur Benetzung bei Bedarf einen Tropfen in den Bindehautsack oder auf die Kontaktlinse geben. Die Menge in einer SDU-Einheit reicht für die Benetzung beider Augen.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Oculac SDU bei Kindern und Jugendlichen wurde nicht geprüft.
Unbenutzten Restinhalt der Einmaldose nicht wieder verwenden, da er nicht konserviert ist. Nach Gebrauch den einzelnen SDU-Behälter wegwerfen.
Es ist empfehlenswert, nach der Anwendung für 1-2 Minuten den Finger auf die Innenecke des Auges zu drücken. Dies verhindert das Abfliessen der Augentropfen durch den Tränenkanal.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebenen oder von Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin empfohlenen Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so konsultieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Oculac SDU auftreten:
Gelegentlich vorübergehendes leichtes Brennen oder ein Gefühl von Klebrigkeit gleich nach dem Eintropfen. Selten traten auch Reizungen oder Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen gegen Inhaltsstoffe von Oculac SDU auf. Für kurze Zeit nach der Anwendung ist verschwommene Sicht möglich.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin konsultieren.
Die Tropferspitze sollte nicht mit dem Auge in Kontakt kommen, da dies eine Verletzung am Auge verursachen könnte.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «EXP» bezeichneten Verfalldatum verwendet werden. Nach dem Öffnen sofort verbrauchen. Offenen Behälter mit nicht verwendeter Lösung nicht aufbewahren, da die Augentropfen nicht konserviert sind.
Arzneimittel sollen für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahrt werden.
Das Arzneimittel soll in der Originalpackung, vor Licht geschützt und bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) aufbewahrt werden.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilen Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist, bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
1 ml sterile, gepufferte isotonische Lösung Oculac SDU enthält: 50 mg Povidonum K 25 (5%), Natrium-, Kalium-, Calcium- und Magnesiumchlorid, Natriumlaktat sowie weitere Hilfsstoffe zur Herstellung von Augentropfen.
