Entzündliche Vorgänge in der Nase (z.B. Schnupfen) lassen die Schleimhäute unserer Nase anschwellen, da hier vermehrt wässrige Flüssigkeit in die Schleimhäute eingelagert wird. Durch die erhöhte (hypertone) Salzkonzentration von Otrivin Meer Nasenspray, im Vergleich zum Schleimhautgewebe, wird der Nasenschleimhaut überschüssiges wässriges Sekret mittels osmotischem Effekt entzogen. Diese abschwellenden Eigenschaften können dazu beitragen, die Nase zu befreien und das Durchatmen zu erleichtern. Otrivin Meer Nasenspray kann helfen, die Anwendung von spezifisch abschwellenden Arzneimitteln zu reduzieren.
Darüber hinaus dienen Meerwasserpräparate zur Befeuchtung und Reinigung der Nasenschleimhaut; das Sekret wird verflüssigt und kann besser abfliessen, aber auch Infektionserreger, Allergene und Staub werden aus der Nase gespült. Otrivin Meer Nasenspray unterstützt die Reinigungsfunktion des Flimmerepithels der Nasenschleimhaut und kann so helfen den Selbstheilungsprozess zu beschleunigen.
Otrivin Meer Nasenspray wirkt abschwellend bei verstopfter Nase von Kindern ab 3 Jahren und Erwachsenen, insbesondere bei:
? Erkältungsschnupfen;
? Nasennebenhöhlenentzündung;
? allergischer Rhinitis.
Tipp: Patienten mit chronischen Leiden (allergischer Rhinitis) können das abschwellende Nasenspray Otrivin Meer regelmässig anwenden.
Otrivin Meer Nasenspray wird für Kinder unter 3 Jahren nicht empfohlen. Weitere Anwendungsbeschränkungen sind nicht bekannt.
Bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch sind keine besonderen Vorsichtsmassnahmen notwendig.
Anwendungsbeschränkungen während Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit sind nicht bekannt.
Je nach Bedarf erhalten Kinder ab 3 Jahren und Erwachsene mehrmals täglich 1?3 Sprühstösse in jedes Nasenloch.
1. Pumpkopf durch leichtes Andrücken aufsetzen. Schutzkappe abnehmen.
2. Vor der ersten Anwendung Flasche schräg vom Körper abgewandt halten und mehrmals pumpen bis zum Austreten eines gleichmässigen Sprühnebels. Bei allen weiteren Anwendungen ist der Dosierspray sofort gebrauchsfertig. Sollte der Sprühkopf verstopfen, so kann dieser unter fliessendem, warmem Wasser gereinigt werden.
3. Halten Sie die Flasche senkrecht und führen Sie den Sprühkopf vorsichtig in ein Nasenloch ein.
4. Pumpen Sie einmal kurz und kräftig. Während des Sprühvorganges durch die Nase einatmen.
5. Lassen Sie Otrivin Meer Nasenspray einige Sekunden lang einwirken.
6. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang mit dem anderen Nasenloch.
7. Schnäuzen Sie gegebenenfalls Ihre Nase.
Hinweis: Die Verpackung enthält systembedingt eine leichte Überfüllung, sodass trotz verbleibender Restmenge in jedem Fall die angegeben Menge von 25 ml entnommen werden kann.

2. Kopf über ein Waschbecken halten und den Kopf durch Vorneigen sowie seitliches Abdrehen in waagerechte Lage bringen.
3. Sprühkopf ins obere Nasenloch einführen, anschliessend einmal kräftig 2?3 Sekunden auf den Sprühkopf drücken. Den Sprühkopf nicht zu tief einführen.
4. Anschliessend den Kopf auf die andere Seite drehen und ebenfalls kurz ins obere Nasenloch sprühen.
5. Flüssigkeit für einige Sekunden einwirken lassen, während dieser Zeit nicht schnäuzen. Die Nase eventuell abwischen.
6. Nase schnäuzen. Vorgang 2?3 mal täglich wiederholen.
? Sprühkopf nach jedem Gebrauch waschen und abtrocknen.
? Sprühkopf nicht für mehrere Personen verwenden.
Bei Bedarf kann Otrivin Meer Nasenspray auch über einen längeren Zeitraum angewendet werden, wobei bei länger anhaltenden Beschwerden im Nasenraum eine Abklärung durch den Arzt erfolgen sollte.
Bei Patienten mit chronischen Beschwerden ist eine Anwendung von Otrivin Meer Nasenspray über einen längeren Zeitraum ebenfalls möglich.
Bei gereizter Schleimhautmembran kann es bei Erstanwendung zu einem leichten Kribbeln in der Nase kommen.
Otrivin Meer Nasenspray soll für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahrt werden. Nicht über 35 °C lagern!
Otrivin Meer Nasenspray darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter bezeichnetem Datum verwendet werden.
Nach Anbruch darf Otrivin Meer Nasenspray 25 ml nicht länger als 4 Wochen und Otrivin Meer Nasenspray 135 ml nicht länger als 3 Jahre angewendet werden.
Otrivin Meer Nasenspray enthält natürliches, steriles Meerwasser ohne chemische Zusatzstoffe/Konservierungsstoffe mit einem hypertonen Salzgehalt von 2,2%.
Otrivin Meer Nasenspray beinhaltet eine besondere Kombination aus nahezu allen im Meerwasser enthaltenen Mineralien und Spurenelementen, wie z.B. Calcium, Magnesium, Eisen und Zink.
