PADMA DIGESTIN ist ein tibetisches Arzneimittel auf Kräuterbasis (Bestandteile siehe Zusammensetzung). Nach tibetischer Auffassung stärkt die Rezeptur die Verdauung. PADMA DIGESTIN wird traditionell angewendet bei Neigung zu Verdauungsschwäche und bei Verdauungsstörungen, was sich durch Druck- oder Völlegefühl in der Magengegend und Blähungen zeigen kann. PADMA DIGESTIN wird auch bei Appetitmangel (z.B. in der Rekonvaleszenz) angewendet.
Magenbeschwerden, die sich an eng begrenzter Stelle als Schmerz oder Druckschmerz äussern oder mit allgemeinem Krankheitsgefühl verbunden sind, bedürfen der ärztlichen Beratung.
PADMA DIGESTIN ist auch für Diabetiker geeignet: 1 Kapsel enthält 0.09 g verwertbare Kohlenhydrate.
PADMA DIGESTIN darf nicht angewendet werden bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem der Wirkstoffe (siehe «Was ist in PADMA DIGESTIN enthalten?»). Bei einer Verschlechterung der Symptome sollte ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufgesucht werden.
Bei schweren Erkrankungen des Magen-Darm-Traktes darf PADMA DIGESTIN nur auf Anweisung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin angewendet werden.
Zur Anwendung von PADMA DIGESTIN bei Kindern und Jugendlichen liegen keine Studien vor. Die Anwendung bei Kindern und Jugendlichen wird daher nicht empfohlen.
PADMA DIGESTIN kann einen Einfluss auf die Wirkung gleichzeitig eingenommener Arzneimittel haben. Falls Sie neben PADMA DIGESTIN noch andere Arzneimittel einnehmen, sollten Sie sich von einer medizinischen Fachperson beraten lassen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Erwachsene (ab 18 Jahren): Soweit nicht anders verschrieben, nehmen Sie morgens 2-3 Kapseln mit ausreichend Flüssigkeit ein; in hartnäckigeren Fällen können Sie zusätzlich abends eine Dosis von 2-3 Kapseln einnehmen. Bei akuten Beschwerden nach einer üppigen Mahlzeit nehmen Sie 2-3 Kapseln ein. Die Tageshöchstdosis beträgt 6 Kapseln.
Die Anwendung von PADMA DIGESTIN bei Kindern und Jugendlichen unter 18 Jahren wird aufgrund der fehlenden klinischen Belege nicht empfohlen.
Die beste Wirkung erzielen Sie, wenn Sie die Kapseln mit möglichst warmer Flüssigkeit auf nüchternen Magen einnehmen. Personen mit Schluckbeschwerden schlämmen den Kapselinhalt in warmem Wasser auf.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Für PADMA DIGESTIN sind bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch bisher keine Nebenwirkungen beobachtet worden.
Wenn Sie dennoch Nebenwirkungen beobachten, informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Wie andere Arzneimittel soll PADMA DIGESTIN ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Es soll in der Originalverpackung bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) gelagert werden.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
Eine Kapsel enthält das Pulver aus: Granatapfelsamen 204 mg, Galgant 102 mg, Langer Pfeffer 25.5 mg, Kardamomensamen 12.75 mg, Zimtkassia 12.75 mg, sowie Hilfsstoffe.
